Heh heh. I could hear the hammering on the keys. You'll get him next round champ...As well as 'contributing' on this blog, I 've been arguing against catastrophic AGW on pro-AGW blogs for years and I would dearly loved to have been able to land the knock out blow. [snip] Whatever else it achieves, Anthony's survey is not going to alter the the recent surface trend to any significant degree. Maybe so. But when when signal change is less than the noise the message is lost. I would think that confident in the impending doom of AGW the believers would be crying bloody murder to spend the piddling little bit needed to correct this obvious problem (visible on google maps!) and get the high quality data to prove the case and then prove the solution is working. Wait; that's science when you measure action and result...NVM. The out of hand dismissal of papers that demonstrate poor methods, poor models , and even poorer data sets that are being used to justify a need to spend trillions of dollars (remember Sally Struthers: for 50 cents a day you can feed this child) indicates motivation not driven by scientific method.
