I have been involved in electronics for 30 years, the presenter/producer failed to grasp the difference between voltage and current (it's 'o' level physics guys after all) and frequently referred to him being 'connected to the mains', in fact most of the time he was connected to a high voltage low current source of the 'line output transformer' of a small screen tv set. You can light a 40 w flourescent tube by rubbing a balloon up and down your arm, no current is involved its ionization, not current flow. By doing this with a tv lopt he has destroyed all the nerve endings in his finger tips that's why he cannot feel it! I have done this many times as a tv engineer. Back to school discovery channel and come back when you understand the subject matter not some sensationalist crap I would expect to find in 'the sun'. You also STATED that he was wired to 240 volts for 20 minutes, all the time you can see he is dabbing his fingers on and off the terminals thats how much it doesn't hurt him! You are just lowering the standard of your programs same as these freaks who refuse treatment due to their deformities giving them publicity they cant live without.
