I have not seen any increase in volcanic activity until the past week (Sept. 30 to Oct. 6). USGS / Smithsonian's Weekly Volcanic Activity Report has nine reports of new activity and unrest, including a plume rising over 40,000 feet from Galeras in Colombia and a plume drifting 600 km from Cleveland in the Aleutians.

We had a brief uplift in global temperatures at the end of September, which again is more evidence of the connection between weekly/monthly uplifts in temperature, and increases in eruptions. August saw some strong activity in regions that have been dormant for 60yrs. I predicted the end of September uplift here: theweatheroutlook.com/twocommunity/forums/p/27850/801120.aspx#801120
