Big sunspot (old 1165) rotating into view! ;D Does look Huge, Back ground noise has risen to C level. Could be a fun one to watch.

The delicate touch of Saturn aligning with Jupiter is as nothing compared with these. I thought it was When the moon is in the Seventh House And Jupiter aligns with Mars

With the statement Flare induced. How the heck do you tell what the real SFI was.
Did they correct for the flare induced SFI in the old days, if not why does it matter now?

We in the Seattle area (According to the weather guy last night) are 10 degrees colder on average for 54 of the last 60 days.
We are also Forecast (at least in the next 10 days) to stay 8-10 degrees below normal.

Wonder if that would have made X class if it had been more Earth Facing.
Will we have 1 spotless day or will it rotate enough into view before the departing to count?
