"So the only way that this 'energy' industry would make profit was by Spanish taxpayers and energy users paying them the Subsidies." . Right, but now less from taxpayers and more being paid by users; increases in domectic power bill are being applied regularly in past year and it is been said that we "should pay much more within a few lyears" This is hiitting business and families hardly. Worst policy possible to avoid depression is expensive power, when we swim in great growth Power Co. were compensated by subsidies, we even have a BIG DEBT to te Companies due to nuclear moratory... as if we were rich! We had not knowledge of what was building up (renewables bubble) and neither widely understood power supply and energy State policiy for the future.... But don´t worry shale shall be estracter regardless impact on wild-life areas, which talking about Spain are like minority reservoirs in a territory that´s been subject to building bubble and other uncontrolled damage to landscape (wind farms) and fauna and to the locals economy (not windfarms this case: some towns in Spain live on that windparks placed on municipal territory) This "pay much more in a few years" or as it is said by POTUS here "prices will necessarily skyrocket" - is the mantra of the 'progressives' (Fabians) who want to strangle the first world economies by making them energy poor. Maurice Strong the ex-oil company architect of Agenda 21 has moved to China which 'strangely' is unaffected by these energy restrictions or UN Agenda 21 mandates. BTW the next chapter of Agenda 21 is already being readied - it is Chapter 18 and 'sustainability of water supplies' - watch for emphasis on drought, storm water run off, etc. First I had to find out that POTUS is not this: Attachments:

Now, what I see is that energy markets are -herealso- krony capitalism, that´s so clearly in Spain! (could talk about current oil Companys behaviour in Africa and linkage to corrupted regimes) I can almost figure it out that Spain taxpayers and consumers might also get to be paying for German nuclear dismantling policy which makes them much more Russian dependent by the way... (great move!) And we have just missed an extraordinary opportunity to further help France in Mali against Alquaeda-alike guerrillas throughout Sahel (POTO did helped) while they (the french) have both updated nuclear technology and access to uranium in Africa, and for sure would happily make a good deal for a couple of modern nukes in Spain, for we need diversified energy sources badly and can´t keep on with this windfarms madness... But Mr. Rajoy was looking somewhere else... as he uses to and is to be expected from him. Perhaps this wanderings are more appropriate for If I wanted America/Europe/democracy to fail...

... and Spain is still paying quite a sum yearly to France (near 3 million euros in 2011) for keeping our nuclear waste. Our own nuke cementery won´t be operational before 5 or 6 years (provided gov expenses cuts doesn´t affect this plan) www.elmundo.es/elmundo/2011/12/30/espana/1325239076.html

China admits the existence of "cancer villages" by pollution. An official document admits the problem amid growing protests of the population The Chinese Ministry of environment has admitted the existence of villages in the Asian country with a high incidence of cancer due to pollution. "Poisonous and harmful chemical materials have produced many emergencies relating to water and air (...). "In some places, some peoples are known even as ' cancer villages ', says the five-year plan for 2011-2015 the chemical pollution fight revealed this week, according to France Presse.El recognition of the problem in an official document occurs amid growing protests of the population by environmental problems, whether it be due to pollution, as in Beijing, or the toxic waste and industrial waste. The report does not give details about the causes or the prevalence of cancer; but, according to some studies of foreign experts, there are hundreds of locations with higher than normal levels of this disease. The affected villages are usually near rivers. The Ministry warned in the document that China is facing a serious situation in regards to the control of pollution caused by chemicals, and appointment as causes controls inadequate pollution risk by companies, the lack of systematic policies to restrict the manufacture and use of highly toxic chemicals and hazardous, and the insufficient capacity of the authorities to monitor and supervise pollution. The report acknowledges that China uses "chemicals poisonous and harmful" that are banned in most developed countries and "pose a long-term or potential for human health and ecological damage".Among the measures taken by the Ministry to combat environmental degradation, is drawing up a list of industries and chemicals that priority in preventing and control their pollutant impact will be. The list includes the processing of oil and nuclear fuels; the manufacture of chemicals, drugs, and chemical fibers, and casting and the development of non-ferrous metals. The textile and mining industries will also receive special attention.Authorities have also forced companies with high pollution risk to sign environmental liability insurance so that they can cope with any damage or disposal which can cause and compensate the victims. This directive, made public Thursday, forcing industries designated, such as petrochemical and metals heavy, to join to the insurance system. This was introduced in 2007, but so far it was voluntary. The rapid development that China has experienced in the last three decades has had a major environmental impact. Hu Siyi, Vice Minister of water resources, said last year that 40% of Chinese rivers are seriously polluted and 20% contains so much pollution that its water is considered too toxic for human contact.Serious industrial accidents along major rivers have forced to interrupt the water supply to major cities on several occasions in recent years. Last month, they were leaked in a river of the northeast of China around nine tonnes of aniline, a chemical used in the manufacture of polyurethane. The existence of the flight not transcended for five days. For when it was learned of its existence, it had already contaminated the water supply of a town in a neighbouring province. sociedad.elpais.com/sociedad/2013/02/22/actualidad/1361539395_481811.html

Bird choppers may receive some scrutiny. How many birds does it take to decide that bird choppers are not to friendly to the birds. OOps they violated the law and did not have a take permit, really! "Eagle death at Nevada wind farm brings federal scrutiny" "A single dead eagle could spell trouble for a White Pine County wind farm that sells power to NV Energy. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is conducting an investigation after a golden eagle was killed in late February at the Spring Valley Wind Farm, about 300 miles north of Las Vegas. San Francisco-based Pattern Energy, which owns the 152-megawatt wind energy project, reported the dead bird and turned it over to federal authorities within 36 hours of its discovery. “They did all the things they were supposed to because of an eagle death,” said Jeannie Stafford, spokeswoman for the Fish and Wildlife Service in Nevada. Even so, the wind farm could face a fine of up to $200,000 because it does not hold a federal “take” permit that would allow the incidental death of a golden or bald eagle." link

Well I guess its OK for a wind farm to kill Eagles. Skyrocket says only coal is bad, not dead eagles. "AP IMPACT: Wind farms get pass on eagle deaths " " CONVERSE COUNTY, Wyo. (AP) -- It happens about once a month here, on the barren foothills of one of America's green-energy boomtowns: A soaring golden eagle slams into a wind farm's spinning turbine and falls, mangled and lifeless, to the ground. Killing these iconic birds is not just an irreplaceable loss for a vulnerable species. It's also a federal crime, a charge that the Obama administration has used to prosecute oil companies when birds drown in their waste pits, and power companies when birds are electrocuted by their power lines. But the administration has never fined or prosecuted a wind-energy company, even those that flout the law repeatedly. Instead, the government is shielding the industry from liability and helping keep the scope of the deaths secret." link

Going to be a blow today. 48+mph winds....offffftaaaaaa...
Yep, it happens.
CO2 has nothing to do with it.
Transition time in the Northern Plains has everything to do with it.

So kill as many birds as possible, tax everyone in sight, drive up the cost of electricity while making electricity more unreliable. Oh I forgot all for no "savings" of the magic gas CO2. If the sun continues its slumber we will need more CO2 for its agricultural benefits, not less.

More on the slaughter. The perfect victims cannot speak, only their dead bodies are left with in most cases no one to see. Skyrocket the deaths, skyrocket the taxes, skyrocket the debt. "Study: Wind Farms Killed 67 Eagles in 5 Years" "(WASHINGTON) — Wind energy facilities have killed at least 67 golden and bald eagles in the last five years, but the figure could be much higher, according to a new scientific study by government biologists. The research represents one of the first tallies of eagle deaths attributed to the nation’s growing wind energy industry, which has been a pillar of President Barack Obama’s plans to reduce the pollution blamed for global warming. Wind power releases no air pollution." link

I am sure that I will be next. Only requires a permit. "California wind farm seeks permit to kill eagles" "SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- A Solano County, Calif., wind farm would be the first renewable energy project in the nation allowed to kill eagles under a federal plan, a U.S. agency said. Under the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service proposal, outlined in a draft environmental report released Thursday, the Shiloh IV Wind Project would be issued a golden eagle take permit for its 3,500-acre plant in the Montezuma Hills, the San Francisco Chronicle reported. The plan would allow the company's 50 wind turbines to kill as many as five golden eagles in a five-year period in exchange for measures to protect the birds, including retrofitting 133 power poles to prevent electrocutions, the Chronicle said." link

The Golden Eagle derogation could be quoted.
