Sun is higher, brighter and more south than ever before, everything melts and Inuits for the first time in knowed history are getting sunburns. They cant rely on the stars anymore for travel like they elders use to do before, because they moved. Yes indeed if the Earth tilted we all tilted. Equator would be less obvious than at the Pole circle. Someone in Texas made a site on his observation about the Tilt, so yes some people are getting together to expose the Top Secret Tilt. Why is it a secret? Because they try to suck us into a CO2 scam and tax and rule our life. A guy in Texas did some Sun position mesurments : www.divulgence.net/Sun%20angle.html

This is a site which aims at serious science. Anyone (with average intelligence) can buy a telescope & read a few books on astronomy & verify for him or herself what is happening. In the middle ages, astronomers could measure angles of tilt with nothing much more than a protractor. In fact, we can use stone circles.
There are no hidden secrets or conspiracy.
How Lief puts up with similar nonsense patiently on the solar board section, I don't know.

The sun only gets about 3 degrees above horizon during december here and any real change would have been high noticeable even here.

In the middle ages, astronomers could measure angles of tilt with nothing much more than a protractor. In fact, we can use stone circles. There are no hidden secrets or conspiracy. How Lief puts up with similar nonsense patiently on the solar board section, I don't know. Yes indeed and this guy did just that and he concluded that the axis moved. www.divulgence.net/solar_angle_variables.htmHow the angle of the Sun has changed: The normal position of the sun on the Summer solstice (June 21st, the longest day of the year) should be directly over the Tropic of cancer. This is an imaginary line which is located about 23.5 degrees north of the equator. This equates to the normal angle of tilt on the earth's axis at 23.5 degrees. There is a monument at Todos Santos in Baja Mexico marking the location. You can also find this monument on Google Earth; and by turning on a view of the "grid" you can also see the position of the tropic of cancer as it encircles the earth. This is the farthest north point of the sun. All of us who live north of Mid Mexico where the Tropic of Cancer crosses, should always see the sun to the south of us. Never to the north. The sun should never appear any farther north than the Tropic of Cancer in Central Mexico. Not at any time in over 50 years, have I ever had sunlight shining in the windows on the north side of the house... which faces true north. I'm located on the 33rd latitude, a little more than 675 miles north of the Tropic of Cancer in the Dallas area. So when I noticed the Sun flooding in the north windows in the mornings and afternoons in 2007, it was hard to miss the blinding sunlight where it had never been before. I was not the first one to mention this. The entire neighborhood was wondering what was going on before I did. I also have friends in Canada and Alaska who were asking the same questions. It was also getting dark a half hour later than normal for that time of year. People in Texas and Canada noticed it. My friend in Alaska said it is brighter at night now for much longer (as you know, it stays light at night in the summer there). The only difference was that I decided to find out what was going on. I measured the angles of the sunrise and sunset using points of reference and satellite images. I took photos to show the sunrise and sunset reference points then used a satellite image to draw lines so you can see the same thing I saw. I have included those photos on this website and shown the angles and points of reference. I used June 21st (the Summer Solstice) as the comparator each year starting in 2007. The angle of the sun when measured with the 33rd latitude on a satellite map grid was 26 degrees farther to the north from Dallas. (Keeping in mind that the sun is not supposed to be north of the 23.5 degree latitude... much less, a 26 degree angle farther north than the 33 degree latitude.) So the angle of the tilt is off by quite a bit more than the 26 degree angle I measured. It is my belief that the tilt of the earth's axis has changed and the cause of the axis change is the melting of the polar ice caps. As the land ice melts, the weight of that melted ice is distributed in the oceans, thus reducing the weight at the poles. Antarctica being the heaviest because the glacial ice is on top of a large land mass, so at the moment, it is the heaviest point. However, the earth is slightly larger at the equator and once all of the polar ice has melted, the weight at the equator may cause the axis to continue to increase the angle of the axial tilt. According to one scientist who appeared on "The Universe" (I think) in the spring of 2008, if memory serves; he believed the earth has tipped over on its side and back again several times over the millennia. I think he stated it had occurred about 11 times in the past. He has found evidence of tropics at the poles and glaciers at the equator. Whether or not the earth tips over would obviously be hotly debatable but the redistribution of that arctic ice weight will most definitely continue to impact the tilt of our axis and the tipping over is a distinct possibility we must consider. At the rate of the polar melting, scientists have made several statements reported by CNN, that all of the polar ice will have melted by 2020. Some felt it might be as soon as 2012. I am providing every piece of solid evidence on this website to back up every statement. I also included data, information and images from irrefutable, reputable sources such as NASA, SOHO, ESA, NOAA, NWS, USGS and many more, on related issues so anyone can click on their links and validate the authenticity of the data. You will find nothing on this website which is not supported by authentic data. If I do extrapolate an opinion from the data, I will clearly state that it is an opinion and it will be based on the data contained herein. I will also compare alternate possibilities of what has caused this problem and which scenario is the most likely.

This twit, all the Inuit elders who said that the sun come higher and more south, stronger and the stars moved. People that are freezing in plain summer in Longyearbyen. All of them are a bunch of liars and idiots. You in the other hand is very intelligent. Too lazy and incompetent to start getting ur ass out and do some measurements yourself, but believe in CO2 scam because some pedophiles said its true...
Well I choose to believe those who have nothing to gain out of the CO2 casino and they all point to a tilt change.

Soooooooo we hear of the impacts of the Nuclear testing (underground and open air) and how much this has 'altered' the earths axis....... suddenly the world is pals and testing is banned (how moral of us)......
Meanwhile we start a rapid 'defrost' of the North and 'freeze' of the south (so much more snow that ice shelves break off!!!).
As years pass the earths mass distribution alters, North lighter ,south heavier.....
Eventually the difference is soooo great the planet 'flips' (polar reversal) but the molten core stays. The earth flips but the magnetic poles remain the same.
The south then melts in rapid order and the north refreezes. Flip, then the south refreezes and the north melts.
Eventually the osscilations slow and a 'stable phase' is re-established. This is what the oceanic crust picks up on and lays down a band of n or s 'magnetised crust'.......
Dec 21st, 2012......the day the Earth 'flipped'........

Well, this is the first I have heard of a potential axial shift. Not sure what to think of this observational data. The axial tilt with respect to the orbital plane of the solar system (the ecliptic) is referred to as obliquity. It varies from a minimum of 21.8 degrees to a maximum of 24.4 degrees over a major cycle of 41kyrs. So 2.6 degrees unless something really heavy upsets the solar systems gravity balances. The variation is 1.3 degrees about a mean of 23.3 degrees. We are at about 23.5 degrees today, so pretty close to the middle.
I think scpg2 meant precession (not procession), and here is the best description I have yet found with respect to the two components of precession (Maslin and Ridgewell, 2005):
There are two components of precession: one relating to the elliptical orbit of the Earth and the other relating to its axis of rotation. The Earth’s rotational axis moves around a full circle, or precesses, every 27 kyr (Fig. 4a). This is similar to the gyrations of the rotational axis of a toy spinning top. Precession causes the dates of the equinoxes to travel around the Sun resulting in a change in the Earth-Sun distance for any particular date, for example Northern Hemisphere summer (Fig. 4c). In addition there is the precession of the Earth’s orbit (Fig. 4b), which has a periodicity of 105 kyr and changes the time of year when the Earth is closest to the Sun (perihelion).
It is the combination of the different orbital parameters that results in the classically quoted precessional periodicities of 23 and 19 kyr. Combining the precession of the axis of rotation plus the precessional changes in orbit produces a period of 23 kyr. Combining the shape of the orbit i.e., eccentricity, and the precession of the axis of rotation results in a period of 19 kyr. These two periodicities combine so that perihelion coincides with the summer season in each hemisphere on average every 21.7 kyr, resulting in the precession of the equinoxes.
What I think you need to do excalibur, is quantify, if you can, what sort of a rotation axis you are describing. A good, old fashioned sextant would provide you with alt-azimuth bearings, but I doubt you could find one. The next best alternative might be a Bruunton pocket transit and its associated mount and tripod. or a good surveyors transit. The optical ones can sometimes be picked up at good prices on ebay.
You may not be able to "backtrack" what you describe as the recent past alt-azimuth readings, but there are ways to calculate this based on your lat/long and year. I am getting ready for a bicoastal flight so I am not going to look that up for you, but I would not be surprised to learn there is a website or excel spreadsheet that will help you out here.
There are also some hypotheses being bandied about regarding tectonic shifts and the effect this would have on our rotation axis. I personally have not ventured into this side abyss in the tectonic universe, but it is venturing into the signal zone from the literature noise with each strong temblor these past years. Some cagey searching on scholar.google.com might net you some interesting reading.
One thing about tectonic shifts that is not debated much is that of a plate moving north or south, the effect on insolation obvious. But it might take quite a lengthy slip north to net a degree shift either way, something like 70 miles. Probably would not go unnoticed.
Then, of course, there is landslip, settling and creep, all variants of mass wasting in soils and unconsolidated sediments. Your house could have moved a tad and this would be hard to notice unless it was really noticeable (i.e. landslide, slumping etc.).
Having said all of that, I really don't know what to make of your observations.

I think scpg2 meant precession (not procession), Correct. I did change to the proper word in subsequent conversations. Sad to say my spelling leaves a lot to be desired. Firefox's auto spell check doesn't account for improper words though.

scpg02 what is your take on all the testimonies of the Inuit Elders and some folks who took picture of the Sun rising higher in the Canadian Arctic and the Sun Disc been more intense and in the wrong direction?
Do you think that CO2 is moving the Sun?

scpg02 what is your take on all the testimonies of the Inuit Elders and some folks who took picture of the Sun rising higher in the Canadian Arctic and the Sun Disc been more intense and in the wrong direction? Do you think that CO2 is moving the Sun? I doubt the source and accuracy of the assertion. Astronomers depend on precise locations of the stars they study. Any significant change in obliquity would result in a great deal of comments from the astronomical community. Frankly I will bet that each of the stories you have posted on this will turn out tobe as confused and unreliable as your post regarding the magnetic filed of Earth changing the ocean currents.

magnetic field and ocean current are related, strength of one affects strenght of the other.
You cant think for yourself hunter, you are waiting for a political pedophile to tell you its CO2 who is moving the Sun
