www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2009/may/19/gps-close-to-breakdown"US government officials are concerned that the quality of the Global Positioning System (GPS) could begin to deteriorate as early as next year, resulting in regular blackouts and failures – or even dishing out inaccurate directions to millions of people worldwide." Right on timing for Venus transit phase of 2010/10/10 They have a crystal ball or what? www.divulgence.net/gps_failure.htm"On Dec 6th, 2006 the world GPS system failed and it was blamed on a supposed solar flare of historic levels which NOAA claims occurred Dec 5, 2006 10:18-10:45 UTC. However, this information was not made public until April 2007. Normally, something this big would be a major news story, but the 5 months of silence was more than revealing. The news networks, military, phone companies, wireless and interactive street mapping products all depend on GPS, so it was not a secret to any of them. But for 5 months, not a word was mentioned about this "historic" solar flare." Right after the 5 hours Mercury Transit of 2006 December 2006 was full of Catastrophic Earthquake CO2 wavelength capturing in action...

www.astronautix.com/craft/gpsock2r.htmThey have just replace the GPS system between 1997 and 2006....And they have to replace it again? ? "Launches began in 1997 of 'GPS-IIR' replenishment satellites, produced by General Electric Astrospace (later acquired by Lockheed Missiles & Space). The GPS IIR contract was issued in 1989 and included 21 satellites based on the commercial AS-4000 bus. These provided improved navigation accuracy and longer autonomous satellite operation than earlier model GPS satellites. Lockheed was responsible for launch and flight operations support of the GPS IIR through 2006. "

They cannot all be launched simultaneously they are launched at regular intervals during the replacement period. From the same reference you site: " Design Life: 10 years.". Now this is REALLY difficult add 10 to 1997.... Yes they will have to replace the satellites launched early in the last replacement program already. Its a continuous process and each launch has more capability than the last.

The process to replace older GPS satellite was completed in 2006
So now they all gonna be dead a the same time next year?
Whats the warranty on a Multi billion satellite?
Fact: The Earth is tilting

How can satellites wear out after just 4 years?
You are that gullible are you?
If the full network of GPS is planned to come down at the same time its not rusting bolts
Or maybe CO2 is capturing the wavelength to the satellites solar panels

What does lack of maintaince have to do with venus transit?? You seem to basically link every random story with your theory...
And now you talk about earth tiling on it's axis again?? How come that dosent affect rest of earths satellites?? How come the sun is exactly where it should be at this time of year here in Norway? Why does it start to get dark outside here during nights which is just right on time? You must be seriously delusional if you think that earth tiliing on its axis would only affect a couple of places in the world.

Please detail the maintenance needed for a 2006 GPS satellite to avoid total breakdown in 2010. You seemed pretty convinced, so please share your facts.
Soyuz lasted more years without maintenance than any freemasonic garbage that NASA ever launched.
Venus transits are suspected to cause Magnetic jerk on Earth's magnetosphere causing Earth to change its tilt thus affecting GPS locators.
How do you know that the Sun is a the same spot? Did you make any credible measurements?
Some folks did and their results are more plausible than John Doe opinion from Norway

A small change of even 1 degree would be very noticeable even to the average person in terms of sun altitude in and day length in winter. In summer it would either cause our nights to become darker or noticeable brighter and would also change the timing of when the dark nights returns. Everything this year has been on target just like every other year. And there are plenty of people who measure this stuff and it would cause things like automatic telescope locking to become useless if tilt changed any more than what is expected. The tilt has simply been constantly decreasing for thousands of years now in a very slow pace. And again i ask you.. Why is it just now starting to get dark in nights here?? Just like it did last year, the year before that, the year before that and so on?? If tilt has increased in summer then our bright nights would last well into august. If the tilt has decreased then it would get darker earlier and our summer nights significantly darker. But i guess axial tilt is just a localized phenomena...... I can also ask you.. Why do you blindly believe some non confirmed story you read on the internet?

Anonymous John Doe from Norway is saying that 1 degree change everybody will notice...
It is notice by everybody who live in the real Canadian Arctic and you already read all the posted . testimonies, why are you continually hammering your office clerk Sun opinion is beyond me.
Real people who live real life under a real sun are saying that the Sun moved and it is higher and more potent.
They have sunburns to prove it and light for the first time during winter months. Picture of Sunrises and Sundisc to prove it
What does anonymous sock-puppet from Norway has beside his opinion?
This is not a topic about Norway anonymous casual talks about exfoliation Please respect the topic.
Please back up your claims with facts, what does the 2006 GPS satellites needs in maintenance before they all broke down in 2010?
BTW your English is immaculate for a Norway guy...We have an history of CO2 believers using multiple user id to flood this forum with CO2 garbage, be careful you could be suspected.

Soyuz lasted more years without maintenance than any freemasonic garbage that NASA ever launched. On June 28, 2010, Voyager 2 completed 12,000 days of continuous operations since its launch on August 20, 1977. For nearly 33 years, the venerable spacecraft has been returning unprecedented data about the giant outer planets, the properties of the solar wind between and beyond the planets and the interaction of the solar wind with interstellar winds in the heliosheath. Having traveled more than 21 billion kilometers on its winding path through the planets toward interstellar space, the spacecraft is now nearly 14 billion kilometers from the sun. Traveling at the speed of light, a signal from the ground takes about 12.8 hours to reach the spacecraft. voyager.jpl.nasa.gov/"freemasonic garbage"? How do you know that the Sun is a the same spot? Did you make any credible measurements? How do you know that the Sun has moved? Did you make any credible measurements? Some folks did and their results are more plausible than John Doe opinion from Norway What do you have against Norwegians? They are as capable as noting earth tilt as anyone else. Personally, I like Norwegians.

How can satellites wear out after just 4 years? You are that gullible are you? If the full network of GPS is planned to come down at the same time its not rusting bolts Or maybe CO2 is capturing the wavelength to the satellites solar panels SIgh The GPS satellites ae in low earth orbit and these orbits decay relatively quickly unless some thrust is used to maintain orbit. That can only come from fuel which the satellites have a limited supply. The satellites also need significant power to be continually transmitting their positioning signals and that also starts to run down. Yes nuclear power plants could be used but the tree huggers woujld object so instead the satellites are lifed and they are continually replaced as they run out of fuel. There is an advantage to this too as the satellites are continually upgraded in capability.

Do you ignore everything i write?? I live in arctic region as well, so why the heck would it not be noticeable in Norwegian arctic while it is only noticeable in one localized spot in canadian arctic?? The sun here during summer solstice is only 3 degrees below horizon at darkest point of night. If somehow earth was tilting more towards to sun or vice versa then it would of course change our nights drasticly. It would also drastically change the timing of sunrise and sunset/length of day. A degree or more change either way during winter would change our day length by hour(s). What you seem to be doing is basically searching around on google and picking articles or stories that agree with your flawed theory, while you ignore the rest. Why does for example a computerized telescope work today when it is adjusted automatically based on calculations made years ago? If tilt changed then the telescope would fail to point itself towards the correct object. Again i suggest you read up on the milankovich cycles which are responsible for changes in tilt. Also if you read my past posts you would know that i dont believe at all in AGW. Your theory on the other hand is more far fetched than any AGW alarmism story i have heard. I also wonder if you think tilt has increased in summer or decreased? Edit: The reason i mentioned i live in Norway is because it is located very far north. Such changes are most noticeable in high latitude regions. A small change in tilt would move the entire polar circle either further south or northwards all over the world.
