"There's evidence that rising co2 is having a warming effect" is not contradicted by "Greenland (and Northern Siberia as well) colder in 1980-1990 than in 1890-1900" Einstein wasted a lot of time looking for "theory of everything". Had he lived few decades later, he would have found it - theory of AGW. There is nothing, which disqualifies it and whatever is observed, is not contradicting it. But I do not object that rising CO2 has warming effect; it is just too small to be recognizable.

It's not a case of it explaining everything, it's a case of greenland not providing evidence to the contrary. Colder temperatures in 1980-1990 greenland than 1890-1900 greenland could happen even if there was 4C warming per doubling of co2 on a global scale.
For correlation to provide evidence of causation requires a significant rise above the natural state, as such even 3C per doubling would be too small to be recognizable until most of that warming was complete.
As a thought experiment consider if the warming of the past 3 decades continued along the same trend into the future. How long would that have to go for a co2 signal to become recognizable?

How would it work blocking warming in Greenland. . . .and the US while you are at it. For correlation to provide evidence of causation requires a significant rise above the natural state, as such even 3C per doubling would be too small to be recognizable until most of that warming was complete.
