This must be the biggest real estate play of all times.
I do think though that a simple south sea type scam is better and offers the best option for surer profits. Of course set around the Antarctic which is very large and offers great waterfront and elevated views.
This man has lifted all those suckers to fever pitch I would be surprised if even governments could resist. Remember they send 100s of millions to Clinton Foundation.
This guy is a clown.

Lots of melt ponding now highly visible on sat images of the ice shelfs around Antarctica. Many places have seen weeks of above zero temps with the coming week not bucking that trend. We know from experience just what extensive melt ponds can lead to after watching LarsenB's swan song back in 02'!

Do you think it's time for me to invest in a SCUBA/wet-suit/swim-wear shop?

If you use the Modis sats you can zoom in to 250m. Seeing as some of the features are 10 miles long you'll have no problem spotting them ( bright blue on white) worldview.earthdata.nasa.gov/

Sir David had been reading Marvel Comics again hadn't he? Slowly and haltingly with lips moving - helped considerably by the pictures.

Well....we'll have to distribute copies of the Piri Reis map, it is supposed to contain details of an ice free antarctic!! Well as an individual species we've been around at least a quarter a million years and look how far we came in this latest 10 thousand years? West Antarctica was last ice free 125 thousand years ago so plenty of time to have raised ourselves to a similar level of sophistication prior to the pinch point in our species ( down to 1,000 breeding pairs according to our DNA record?) around 70 thousand years ago? Could we have already seen a level of sophistication similar to the middle ages before the volcanic 'nuclear winter' nearly did for our species? The map was supposed to have been a copy of a far older document so did some of the past civilisation pass down to us? The other thing is that most maps have the mapmakers location as the middle of the map ( until we got our current Eurocentric design with Greenwich meridian the middle of the map?) and the larger 'original map' would have had Antarctica as its centre?

Thanks GW. That will keep me occupied for the rest of my days. I'd like to know the specs for their servers/storage!

Well if you want to read something that is the source of as much contention as CAGW, but not as publicised as there is no taxation possibility, you should read "The Hidden History of the Human Race - Forbidden Archeology" By Crema and Thompson. Available as Kindle book from Amazon. It is a book that shows 'group think' being imposed in academia in a completely different area. It adds to the distrust of academics that appears to be a sensible position.
