I don't have much hope for great activity on 10, 12,and 15 Meters. Even if it is double peak, it probably won't be any higher than the last peak. I know people are still making contacts on those bands and will continue to, but it was sure great to be able to regularly work the world with a simple mobile antenna
I'm starting to set up better 80 Meter antennas and am using that band more and will probably be setting up a 160 Meter antenna one of these days.
I have a feeling the next Cycle isn't going to be any better, with the sunspots leaving.

Hello,Maybe they might be no sunspots (good-propagation) for A considerable time!...according to this website - theminiiceage.blogspot.co.uk/We are in A "Mini Ice Age" The current 'WX' tells you something i.e. snow in france in the month of may!. Karl, Best - 73.

We may be headed for a double peak.
Hope this peak is bigger than the last.

Current solar community best-guess is that this cycle will float along about where it is, generating multiple "peaks" below 70 or so (smoothed sunspot number), and taper off next year.

Looks to me like we have peaked and with the magnetic reversal we are headed down. I predicted we had reached peak months ago, likely more based on luck than skill.

What's the advantage that we can gain for radio communications from this dso called double peak? Can it propagate more of the radio waves in the HF range?
