But Mr. Cutty, all of these are reports of weather, not climate. Besides, we all know CO2 warming causes more snow because a warmer atmosphere holds more water, and causes record breaking events both hot and cold, as well as dry and cold, and wet and cold . . . Well, record events of all types. As for Antarctic sea ice, climate models predict warming will result in more ice down there. The only relevant data from the South Pole is that which demonstrates warming of the west Antarctic ice sheet. Oh, and any calving of ice down there. That is newsworthy as well. You need to focus your attention on hot weather in Finland, and any day when there is significant melt of Arctic sea ice. Please get with the program.

All these reports are indeed 'weather' that comes from overall climate conditions and C02 has nothing to do with the record snow that's been falling in the southern hemisphere. You need to get off your 'program' and get with the facts of the real climate and weather deal. That's what I say.

Indeed Mr. Kelter, that too is compelling evidence of our imminent doom, as are lonely polar bears who have forgotton how to swim, so feverish have their brains become.

Heaviest snowfall in three decades experienced in the driest hot desert in the world (according to Wikipedia): Residents of San Pedro de Atacama say the weekend snow was the heaviest in three decades for the desert city, which is 750 miles north of the capital, Santiago.
But local officials say they are concerned that the snow and rain that fell over the weekend could cause some rivers to flood as has happened in the past.
The national tourism office says the road to the city was temporarily blocked due to the unusual weather.Link: news.sky.com/story/1133717/chiles-atacama-desert-sees-rare-snowfall
