I had the honor and the privilege of attending the ICCC in New York last week. All of the presentations can be found (PowerPoint presentations and video) here: www.heartland.org/events/NewYork09/proceedings.htmlThere were many fine paleoclimatology sessions, which I will link in sc24.com's good old paleo link as well. Cheers

Could be. With Hansen out and promoting agw and protesting against the coal industry, the mice may be playing.
Most Megalomaniac dictators learn quickly not to leave the castle, if they want to stay in power.

I was looking at current natural gas prices (we pick our own supplier here - long story) and found this site: tonto.eia.doe.gov/oog/info/ngw/maps.htmlIt's the current weekly (looks like a two-week lag, the current week ending date is 4-9) temperature data for the US, showing the degrees above/below average across the country for the week. It doesn't look like they archive anything, so it's up to you if you want to keep track of the data until the monthly averages come out. BTW, per the current map, the week ending on 4-9 was below average (substantially, in some areas) for most of the US.

I saw an article not long ago, saying that very large gas fields had been recently discovered in the U.S., with a large overall energy content.

As I understand it, another rebound now occurring is the rising of lands one covered by glaciation. In many parts of the world this rise is causing an apparent, although small, fall in sea levels.

Two excellent articles connecting Enron/Lay/Hansen/carbon cap/Kyoto/the Canadian socialist Maurice Strong (IPCC creator now living in Beijing -"He went on to promote fossil fuel-driven capitalism as the enemy of civilization" "...the demonization of economic freedom.")/Gore/economic-social control, etc. read Peter Foster )Petro-Canada's grand delusion") and Lawrence Solomon ("Enron's other secret") in the Saturday May 30 National Post newspaper.

In case this free download of the NICCP report as linked at WUWT has not been posted anywhere here, www.nipccreport.org/ It should be the reference par excellance of all realists on this site. Haven't read it all yet, at 800 pages, but it seems to have all points covered with peer reviewed papers to back them up. It downloaded quickly on my slow pc and is about 8,000 kb. It is a group effort, and has a statement signed by some 30, 000 scientists

JPL and CalTech are scientific organizations. Do you think that GISS agrees with them?
