ca.news.yahoo.com/gasoline-home-heating-costs-rise-100000243.htmlPeople across Ontario will be paying more to fill up their cars and heat their homes starting Jan. 1, when the Liberal government's new cap-and-trade plan takes effect. A study commissioned by the province projects cap-and-trade will drive the price of gasoline up 4.3 cents per litre, and push up costs for people who heat with natural gas or furnace oil by an average of $5 per month. Be sure and read the comments. Appears to not be a whole lot of support for this action? ?

Would seem that Canadian politicos might want to read the tea leaves from down south.

ca.news.yahoo.com/hydro-cost-complaint-kathleen-wynne-223234567.htmlKeenan has dug into her savings to help pay her bills, saying she is close to being "one car repair or one mechanical breakdown" away from closing down her business. She says the province should do more to help people when it comes to hydro. "I'm not costing you a penny right now, but if I give up and go in the welfare line, then you'll be looking after me," she said. "I don't know why they would try to put people in a position where they can't afford to keep going because they're going to have to carry them anyway."
