solarcycle24com.proboards.com/thread/2543/engineeringtoolbox-net-radiation-chart?page=1 Much is misunderstood about cooling. Especially people with no practical experience take the Engineeringtoolbox Net Radiation chart too seriously.....
The curve demonstrates that the cooling rate of a heated object will be slowed by a cooler object with a temperature above absolute zero. Absolute fact and the curve is right on the mark.
But what people fail to recognize here for practical application in an active thermodynamic process this is a "snapshot". The actual cooling rate in the real world where things may not be completely in equilibrium is the actual cooling rate of the hot object is the value pulled from the Net Radiation Chart plus the cooling rate of the cooler object. In other words dynamically the heated object is heating the cooler object while the cooler object is cooling itself. If the actual rate of cooling was not both the Chart value plus the cooling rate of the cooler object would get colder and at the rate its cooling and the Enginneers curve will be right there to instantly fill that void.

I don't really care Andrew, Tbh you two should swap emails or something and air your dirty laundry in private
The exchanges between you are frankley spamming this usually enlightening site and starting threads like this whiffs of narcissism
I think you should both stop this now for the wider communities sake....please.

Unfortunately I never realised he had been baiting other people with his psychotic responses for years.

I don't think Admin is interested in policing.
We are adults, we can all act as adults.
There is frustration, yes as reasons for how our fluid climate actually works is not currently understood, nor explained by current science.
All one has to do is look at historical CO2 levels, and temperature responses.
Yes, earth radiates heat and absorbs heat. There is no "roof" on earth.
Lots yet to learn.

I changed my signature line as its quite clear Einstein was right. Everybody thinks they know the way it works, but for some odd reason nobody can successfully demonstrate what they believe, nor can they predict what the climate is going to do. Worse, there is probably hardly anybody trying to work on it. . . .because they erroneously already believe they know how it works. The entire story of Einstein is instructional here. He came out of nowhere and turned the world on its ear for the very same reason. Its happen time and time again, one man bucked the system and changed the system. And who hates it more than the folks who think they know it all. . . .no one. Progress is not made without a challenge of the existing mindset. This climate issue highlights it more than perhaps anything in history has.
