I think not only can Trump survive but he can flourish. He just needs to be more Reaganish and less Childish... While his economic policy, position on defense and trade is nearly identical. The way he speaks to public via Twitter is embarrassing. My wife a very moderate non political independent voted for him in 2016. I think she has regretted this ever since. I think much of America feels the same way. Out of approximately 330 million Americans, this is a list of those who are able to slow him down, change his style and convince him to close his Twitter account: 1.

Some of his predecessors would make Trump look tame. LBJ in particular, but the press then just did not report it. In the same way JFK's philandering was unreported. What we have now is a media that would only misreport Trump and amplify everything that will upset snowflakes, while not publishing anything showing Trump in a good light. Trump is almost forced to go around them using Twitter and the builder from queens often shows. I have a feeling that we have not seen anything yet and the gloves will really come off. The Democrats are desperate to avoid the supreme court replacements that Trump would get in a second term, his rate of creating federal judges has also got them panicked.

The way that the media has abandoned the truth, and the dem house has decided that they will simply overturn all future lost elections, it has left Trump with little choice but to be quite loud in getting his story out.

One can only hope and work hard. "Maybe" they are better than climate models, but I seem to remember that the Demoncrats had one of these "slaughtermeters" in 2016. And they missed a few variables. Four years is a long time in the run up to whatever a World-wide "batsh_t crazy" distribution looks like. No relationship in the World is linear for long. www.worldtribune.com/moodys-election-models-forecast-trump-landslide-in-2020/

In the event, the Conservatives won fairly easily.

The faked up impeachment is a mere skirmish compared to what is about to happen. There is a reason that any contact with Ukraine caused Shiff to enter panic mode and push Pelosi into the democrats charade impeachment, it was Ukraine not Russia that was interfering in the US elections of 2016 by invitation from the Democrats. The cats are about to be let out of the bag

"Why It’s Not Surprising Voters Don’t Think Trump’s Rhetoric Is Disqualifying
I'm utterly mystified by those who insist on another national struggle session over the president's rhetoric because of their misplaced belief that D.C. was all curtsies and decorum before Trump showed up.
On Wednesday, President Trump took to Twitter and… well, this is a set-up that means something amusing or concerning happened, and not much in-between. Anyway, the president of the United States called his NeverTrump opposition “human scum.” Suffice to say, I do not endorse this characterization. But I’m utterly mystified by those who insist on another national struggle session over the president’s rhetoric because of their misplaced belief that D.C. was all curtsies and decorum before Trump showed up. Let me explain: A friend of mine, who had a reasonably important White House job in a different administration, is fond of saying, “The problem with Washington is there are not enough bar fights.”"More here:: thefederalist.com/2019/10/24/why-its-not-surprising-voters-dont-think-trumps-rhetoric-is-disqualifying/

Mollie Hemingway nails it: thefederalist.com/2019/10/25/gop-has-a-choice-fight-anti-trump-coup-effort-or-surrender-government-to-democrats/“ What we are facing now is not partisan warfare, it’s not a mystery novel, it’s not politics-as-usual. We are facing an attempt to tear down the foundations of our republic by corrupt, unelected bureaucrats who have decided the will of voters is subordinate to their will to power. It represents a fatal threat to our system of government, and if this coup succeeds — whether through impeachment proceedings, or through an election that (if the last three years are any indication) the other side is clearly willing to steal by hook or by crook — the nation will cease to be a constitutional, democratic republic.”

To the extent the two seem to be choreographed and scripted by the same deep state.
