I see it's cold again in UK with the Cockbridge to Tomintoul road making regular appearances in pics of unseasonal snow - anyone who knows that area will be aware that Tomintoul is famous for 2 things whisky and early and late snow However, it is definitely not what Dr David Viner forecast for UK. According to his forecasts by now oats should be out and grapevines growing in the braes. All that heady stuff is down the memory hole now as we are told that the effects of warming include snow on May bank holidays in UK.

Is it just me or are polar intrusions to temperate areas rather common at the moment???
And im just going to come out with this....ive been a bit quiet of late as ive been dealing with a run-up to an assessment and eventually (as of 2 weeks ago) a diagnosis of Autism.
Its a cathartic process which explains much (including obsessive interests ๐) and is a positive however i learnt so many profound things about myself i guรจss im going through a process 're-balancing'
I've encountered different views on autism and understand its a grey area to some. However those who have someone close or are on the spectrum have clear thoughts on the subject.
Mostly tho im considering my wife who probably hasnt had an emotionally easy time over the years, and as im communicative/friendly with a few of you great guys i felt it easier to bring this up here.
Regarding solar cycles and climate, im very much in a watching phase.....ive encountered many 'dead ends' where my interests wish to explore but research hasnt developed. Also, its frustrating as climate activists scream, public/people i know get fed propaganda.
The way i see it, energy levels to atmosphere are decreasing, jet stream is losing zonal predominance, mixing of polar/temperate air is potentially volatile. Possible change of strange attractor state.
I cannot however find any meaningful research/data. Of course....no-one is looking at this.
So, simply observing for now.
Not going anywhere....still lurking! Will chip in when anything of substance comes up ๐๐

Thx Missouri. Of course, if anyone wishes to book a diagnosed Autist to promote alternate climate theories id be happy to oblige. Im not an innocent young lady but its the best i can do...... In the age of the new Manners and the snarling climate SS, an innocent young lady would need a Thatcher-like constitution to survive. If our previously mentioned anti-hero and his pal had properly diagnosed the tea leaves, they would have stayed at home and tended the garden. The caption on one of these photos reads ...
