Just driving back from Florida. The last couple of days seem abnormally chilly ... 40s lows and 60s highs. Locals were putting on coats. Me too. In the words of a famous man, "Don't sell your coats." And invest in thermal underwear.

Weather is so unusual UK atm. Monday I woke to a blizzard, 2" lay by the time I got to work, all gone and spring like by 12pm. Yesterday there was ice in puddles at 9:30, again, a warm feeling day. Obviously solar insolation on a clear day having big effect. Looking around trees still look pretty wintery, as in few to no leaves. Thus time last year they were very well advanced in foliage, fully even.
Spring is very much late this year compared to last.
