On aviation blogs there is a lot of comment that the storms that the AF aircraft flew through were less intense than the storms over land in the southern US. On the ITCZ convective weather its not as bad as it sometimes can be. Indeed, the number of tropical storms forecast this year is a lot lower - which is in line with the reduced SST. There is no logical justification for the claims and this article appears to have been written by Alexi Goreskii

Since the AGW folks have been railing against airliners for years, I have no doubt that this bird was brought down by a AGW missle fired from Kokorin's butt.

Actually agw's like big jets. They want to put sulphates back into the fuel to reverse agw.

Since the air speed pitots froze, it was global cooling that did it.
