HI. I have a taste of a warmer climate in my area and really liked it. Now that I am tasting the colder climate, I yearn for the warmth. IF AGW is correct, I actually welcome it. I used to hope it was, but seems that the holes in it are getting bigger each and every day. OH well.
Anyone else enjoyed the warmth we experienced in the past 30 years and enjoyed it? Or was that warmth detrimental to your area?
Just curious as to the general benefits of warmth verses colder.

Given a choice warm is always better than cold. The AGW-Goresque nightmares seem to be based on inundation of the world's coastlines and all major cities. The strange thing being that the MWP which lasted a long time - did not result in such inundation although it became warm enough for the vikings to farm on Greenland, much of the ice cover there must have melted for this to be true - yet London was in existence and not flooded. So perhaps the claims are overegged a small amount ? We should keep watch on the Maldives as the canary in the ocean - they still seem to be there subject as ever to the trade-winds and returning Kelvin waves. BTW - I left the climes of Steve and glc and now spend more time in Florida with sojourns elsewhere. I am in an area that Al Gore continually and confidently predicts will be part of the Atlantic by (name a date sufficiently far into the future). So in some ways I have placed a bet already

I think even if you have beachfront property you are pretty safe in your investment. OF course, a hurricane could deplete that beach, but that is weather, not climate.
I do know that my a/c won't have to run this climate year. 2nd time in 30 years, with last year being the 1st. If another La Nina actually develops, there will prob be a 3rd. Lots of farmers here talking about switching to cold weather crops, as the warmer weather ones aren't going to make it this year.

Well, the taste of summer was quit short. High today in the low 60's, lows tonight in the low 40's. This, what I have started to call, the Polar Express over the midsction of the US and Canada is getting quit old. Jacket weather in August? ?
