OK, I seem to remember someone (someones?) a few months ago claiming that, if we didn't start doing something in the next (3?) months, we would reach a tipping point. Does anyone recall the quotes, or am I misremembering?
Thanks!

I believe it was Mr. Brown.....the sorta leader of the Brits telling us that we are all going to burn up or swim if Copenhagen was not ratified and the checkbooks opened up.

The UN chief Ban Ki-moon further shortened the "tipping point" in August 2009, when he warned of 'incalculable' suffering without climate deal in December 2009! This might be the one of which I was thinking, although I seem to recall the term "tipping point" being used.

'tipping point climate' in google brings up 736,000 references. The topping point is a tried and true stage prop of the AGW promoters. It is a way they can pretend to understand a non-linear system, yet make what appears to be firm predictions about it without ever being held accountable for stuff not happening.

hilbert OK, I seem to remember someone (someones?) a few months ago claiming that, if we didn't start doing something in the next (3?) months, we would reach a tipping point. Does anyone recall the quotes, or am I misremembering? No we don't have that much time, it was only 50 days to save the planet (October 19), and that was 35 days ago! Oh sh*t we are all doomed. Doomed I say. www.gather.com/viewArticle.action?articleId=281474977859763And the doom monger was none other than Buffoon Brown.
