We shouldn't be signing (international) treaties until the science is solid. Curbing emissions *IS* important, we DON'T want to contribute to a problem - but human emissions, however much they're increasing are a drop in the bucket compared to a few major hurricane explosions. Earth is traditionally cool.
I know friendships being affected by this crap. It's like the war starting all over again! Everyone's being polarized. Both the AGW and the skeptic "camps" are being idiots.
STFU and GBTW. Although we can't completely eliminate confirmation bias, we can do our best to avoid skewing data with a revised peer-review process, and other simple changes... Finding green solutions is important, but huge taxes during economic recessions are counter-productive as well.
Who's gonna invest in green when layoffs are abound and investors are skittish? Credit's at a premium with huge interest rates!
