AIRS data has now been made available that shows that the mixture of CO2 in the atmosphere is not homogenous, as has been previously surmised, but rather, is somewhat heterogeneous. The data page from JPL: airs.jpl.nasa.gov/AIRS_CO2_Data/Topics for further investigation: Relation between this CO2 data set and cloud density / albedo - locations and frequency. Relation between this CO2 data set and localized temperature anomalies, with a potential look at how this affects regional anomalies. Relation between this CO2 data set and rainfall totals, and their relationship over time. This is just a small set of the various ideas that popped into my head of things that might need to be studied. *Edit: Thanks to WUWT for showing me to the press release.
