SIG. The NWS site (weather.gov) shows all 3 recording stations in your area standing at 5 to 6 F above normal for June. Is that true? Can you tell me what stations are displaying this? We continue to be wayyyyyyyyyyy behind on GDD. Heck, I have had spuds in the ground for over a month and they are barely up. Normally, I would have 1' tall plants.

I am a Veteran. I can still shoot very well. I have no plans to shoot anyone.

This site welcomes all comments. The one you portrayed above would be ridiculed here. Killing someone doesn't help anything nor anyone. I believe that about you, Sig. I think this site is largely like that. I wish I could see more of it across a broader portion of the pool of the internet where I'm forced to wade. Agreed

After today's SCOTUS ruling I am considering voting for Trump. The ruling I think was flawed in that it ignored the Demagoguery of women, and while I support the intent of the plaintiff it was the redefinition of sex I did not like. Under this definition Usain Bolt could compete against women. Totally agree!

I know there are mostly people who describe themselves as "Conservative" here, and at least one left leaning person. I can read how the two sides love to point fingers of blame at each other, but when it comes to "tolerance," there is absolutely none on the two sides, it seems. Consider an independent, politics hater who will vote, and who has an interest in happenings like CHOP (Formerly CHAZ), who reads an article on it having a Jekyll and Hyde personality from day to night, then when he goes down to the comments, he reads comments who say something to the effect of "If the country had the same quality of men as existed in WW II, CHOP would not be an ongoing problem. All that would be left would be a stack of bodies." That's not an exact quote, but I promise I'm being honest to the idea expressed and used some of the same wording, including "Stack of bodies." It was not a joke. It might be dismissed as "Back porch swing talk," but I can't get past someone thinking a massacre is a solution to a problem in a country where we claim to love freedom. The solution sounds more like mob rule, or tyranny. I'm an outsider to either side. The sides will have to police themselves and set their own standards. In that wise, this particular comment got more likes than any other that would fit on my page at that time, so apparently this IS the standard this particular side sets for themselves as there was nobody who seriously spoke against it, and the one who did was ridiculed with things like "Your mother should have spanked you" and other mindless drivel. So how should this politics-hating independent read that and not be alarmed? Is that side supposed to be preferable to the anarchists? I see more respectful discourse on this site, but honestly, this site does NOT seem to be the norm for places where comments are allowed. This site welcomes all comments. The one you portrayed above would be ridiculed here. Killing someone doesn't help anything nor anyone.

When the whole video is shown, the results are not the same as the edited one pushing a narrative.

In 20 years' time, the idea that the concentration of a single trace essential gas controls the climate will seem absolutely bizarre. Heck, seems bizzaro today.

It has been cooler than normal and windier than normal in the upper Midwest. Corn is looking rather ugly. Everything is behind. Growing degree days just not being produced. Just looked at NDAWN and we are 50 GDD behind the 5 year average. The 5 year average is a cooling average. My black walnuts are still expanding leaves. Spuds in the ground for over 20 days and not up. Normal is 12 days. When was the last time you had a good growing season Sig?? Im sure you've had a bad 3 years at least? I hope not to be rubbing salt into a wound, just providing information here....but UK is having good conditions. Saturated ground early in the year led to substantial warmth/sun in spring. Currently showery, plantlife is getting everything it needs.... Has been awhile. The upper Midwest has been cooling for over 20 years. The most pronounced is the cooler springs. Pretty soon it will switch to summer. It is the abrupt change that is most noticeable. Seems once summer hits, always a race to beat winter. That has had abrupt entry for a number of years now.

Our great country is now doomed. The National Debt is rising so fast that it will consume us. If you think the protests are bad now, wait until people don't get "free" stuff anymore.
