Maggie, What would a woman do in this case? LOL about the guy being stuck or melting the lock? I think getting some blood flow would provide the necessary heat to unstick him. I'll leave the how to your imagination. As for melting the lock, they would just melt being in my presence.

lol. you bring back memories of 1963-4 England, on several days I had to pour warm water down the car door seal to open it. That was the year I decided to move to Austraila.

My 4-year-old car has a remote control key which will unlock the driver's door, then the passenger doors and boot, so I don't have to insert the key into a lock. The problem with remote-control keys is that sometimes other radio frequency devices can interfere with them, eg. remote door bell chimes, satellite dishes etc. My car's immobiliser will sometimes not operate at my parents' house, where they have a satellite dish at the front of the house.
PS. poor Smiley!

The worst thing I ever did was put in my mouth sub-zero orthodontic head gear.
Wouldn't trust a keyless car, 'though I guess they're all electronic anyway.
As for smiley--well, my Tacoma key is about a quarter inch wide and an inch long...
