How oven rust could be the key to unlimited fuel that will power anythingBy Daniel Bates Article link Err... this breaks the second law of thermodynamics ;D For this to work more energy must be used to heat the oven to make the rust in the first place, thus it will cost more to make the stuff than you get back from selling it, so anyone setting up a business to do this will go bust There are two main rules in physics 1. You cannot get more energy into a system that was put in. 2. energy cannot be created or destroyed over a given time span (the time span bit needs to be there to deal with quantum fluctuations). this really fails due to having to have non-oxidised iron to turn into rust as you have to make the iron from iron oxide in first place and that means you need to make the stuff in a blast furnace, which uses a hell of a lot of energy mainly coke (no not the drink). These schemes always look good if you look at one part in isolation however when you look at the whole system you can see that really you are being sold... Snake oil ;D

1. You cannot get more energy into a system that was put in. You need to study your AGW better!

and you also need to study economics of which there are also 2 rules
1 sell the idea then the franchise.
2 get out fast with the mugs money and think of the next scam. ;D ;D
