SolarIMG teaser podcast here: solarimg.org/shows/SolarIMG_JPL_210411.mp3We'll have more after the press release next week. In a nutshell, the displacement caused by the Sendai quake actually caused an ionospheric pulse. Yes, this has been postulated about for years, we're just figuring this out.

My survey periodically shows degree of coincidence: www.vukcevic.talktalk.net/EQr.htmDaily distribution is a ‘bit top heavy’ which I would interpret that occurrences are not entirely random.

Random rare events do not show a Gaussian distribution, but a Poisson distribution which is actually a bit top-heavy: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poisson_distribution

Apparently they added material to the press release and it's waiting @ NASA HQ for approval. Hopefully we'll get an update soon!
