The Judge explained that while the natural reaction to these senseless murders would be to further restrict freedoms, that’s not the only option. Napolitano believes that the real blame lies in the fact that these poor cartoonists were left unarmed and defenseless because of Paris’s strict anti-gun laws. Those gun laws didn’t prevent the Islamic terrorists from obtaining AK-47’s though. That’s because laws only apply to the law abiding, and one can’t expect terrorists to abide by laws.
