Apologies in advance for a brief rant, I will happily accept pointers on where I'm going wrong with this and I'm sure this has been stated before, however. ..
Total human contribution to atmospheric CO2....3.27%
Current proportion of CO2 in atmosphere.....0.004%
Over last 400,000 years, CO2 has tracked temperature
WHY is this not in the media....have I got this wrong???
Overall, humans have had a negligible effect on a trace gas which responds through biological activity to temperature trends.......

CO2 is significant, because we are exhaling it right now, and without it we could not live. If you take the CO2 out of a climate controlled greenhouse, the plants will wither and die, CO2 is part of the natural life cycle, and we NEED it.

I said the CO2 ISSUE was pretty insignificant. I obviously do not want to eliminate CO2 from our atmosphere. I like trees and wheat and tomatoes.
I am talking about the rate and magnitude of change of CO2 in the atmosphere, pretty insignificant.

That puts things in context, it really is a mad world out there.....I heard on WUWT that efforts are being made to name our Current time period the Anthropecene....what a joke!

Agreed, the rate of CO2 increase seems to be great, however it has increased for each of the last 20 years, and temps have either not increased or lessened during this timeframe, according to the IPCC. Which tosses the entire CO2, greenhouse effect into the trash, which is precisely why the term greenhouse effect, has been replaced by climate change.
