I don't see how a hectare (just under 3 acres) can be called a glacier - that's just a patch of ice. It's an Argentinian hectare. Different fettle of kish .....

An example of close minded pHd. The exchange between Dr. Curry and Dr. Myrhe on Twitter platform. Worth a gander.

Well ... if they're going to use 1940 to 1970 right here in Middle Earth as the baseline, I think they can declare victory and go home.

Hot enough. When it goes past 29C, with sufficient humidity, it gets uncomfortable. The main problem in SE Queensland is permanency. Once the Summer begins, it is relentless; there is no respite. November this year was quite mild but we can have temperature 'unpleasantness' from late September to early April. It's often said on gardening programs that we have two seasons: Hot and Cooler. I hate the heat, love the cooler.

I hate the heat, love the cooler. Sounds like normal weather for these parts. A weather researcher I worked with here said Central Florida is easy, "94F, thundershowers in the afternoon - repeat from June until November" It is usually the 90% humidity that gets people here I like the heat although it can be a little overpowering if you have to work outside at times. /~ mad dogs and Englishmen....../~ I have noted though that the number of 94F days has reduced during this solar cycle
