I'd like to see the thylacines brought back too. An amazing example of convergent evolution. No dog (or dingo) existed on Tasmania, but dogs should exist, so a dog was created by nature, again. But it might as well have been from Mars, it was a marsupial and unrelated to dogs.

Walnut, the Thylacine is Tasmania's Yeti but they did range across the whole continent. There is more info from the Australian Museum here.
