In comparison to what I have to read each day With cataract surgery not long around the corner reading has become a much greater chore. As soon as it is ripe, have it removed. It has been a God send for both my 90 year old father and 91 year old father in law.

The state Court of Appeals has overturned the ruling of a trial judge who said the university need not disclose 1,700 emails and other records from Jonathan Overpeck and Malcolm Hughes. Pima County Superior Court Judge James Marner had said the university did not abuse its discretion in concluding that disclosing the documents would not be in the best interests of the state. But appellate Judge Joseph Howard, writing for the unanimous court, said it’s legally irrelevant what university officials thought was appropriate to disclose.

The power that we have over this federal government is the ability to starve them out. They require our money. DC needs a complete overhaul.

And this too from Ratty's post. Climate numerology! Man-made CO2 caused heatwaves in 1930s,’40s, ’80s and ’90sThe inexplicable heat of the 1930s and 40s has been a constant source of pain for Global Worriers. Skeptics can point out that the decadal rate of warming was pretty much the same back then, even though CO2 was at the ideal, clima-perfecto level, of 310ppm. How could it be that massive 400ppm of CO2 was barely able to break the heat records set when CO2 was almost 25% lower? Well, finally, mystery solved. A new Australian study compares models that don’t-explain-the-climate with CO2, to ones that-don’t-explain-the-climate without CO2. joannenova.com.au/2016/03/climate-numerology-man-made-co2-caused-heatwaves-in-1930s40s-80s-and-90s/

Code: James Hanson warned us in the 1980's that temps currently would be 2.0C warmer than present.
The predictive success of any "Climate Scientist" does not meet scientific rigor.
Good op-ed piece, but really not worth the paper it is written on.
He talked about how warm the Eemian was, but he never stated the WHY it was so warm verses present day temps.
That is why I started a thread with that very question. I have also asked Katharine Hayhoe.
