Police in UK will not attend for a burglary report but a bored voice will provide a 'crime number' for insurance purposes. One force actually admitted that it only attended burglary reports from even numbered addresses! Reminds me of a joke> A couple look out of their bedroom at dusk and see someone breaking into their next door neighbor's tool shed. They know the neighbor is away so phone the police and report someone breaking into the tool shed. Bored voice: "We have no available police to attend. Ensure that your door is locked are you ready to write down crime number....." Wife: "Not really, my husband is on his way out with his shotgun to stop them getting away.." Not so bored voice: "No No he should not do that - " Husband: Slams heavy book down on kitchen counter twice... Wife Excitedly: "I think he got one!" A minute later sound of rapidly approaching sirens ... Police cars arrive from all directions - armed police catch miscreant running down road with bag of stolen tools Policeman at front door in flak jacket officiously: "OK where is the shotgun." Husband: "We don't own a shotgun." Policeman not at all happy: "You LIED to us about the shotgun!?" Husband calmly: "Well you lied to us about no police available."

The Times They Are A-changin Hope probe: UAE launches historic first mission to MarsHer Excellency Sarah Al Amiri, the science lead on Hope, spoke of her excitement and relief in seeing the rocket climb successfully into the sky. I will put this here as it is about more than COVID and it links the US/UK and the politics and 'swamp'/deep state. It is written by a cynics cynic John Ward on his website. Some of the more UK information Acid and Flea will be able to follow - but it is a general piece looking at origins of COVID and the link to the 'globalist' swamp. Grab a coffee and have a read.... A taster... "I think it is important to give a review of the quarter-century that preceded the events of the last five months. I write that sentence because, since around 1995, a pattern has emerged across the West in which the cynical approach to opinion management at home (and neocon foreign policy abroad) has been increasingly based upon what D1ck Nixon's heavies used to call "plausible deniability". The most obvious trend within that development has been to test plausibility to see how far one can stretch it before the rubber band snaps.
Fully 84% of First World electorates have yet to hear the sound of snapping rubber.
When Bill Clinton crept out of the White House, the main thing he'd become known for was pleasuring an intern with a Cuban cigar.
An hilarious sketch on NBC included a Bill Clinton lookalike drawling, "Mah nayum ees Bull Clint'n, an' I'm not heeyah". When the movie Primary Colors emerged in 1998 (with a fine performance from John Travolta) the more profound nature of Slick Willy's depravity became clearer. The book For the Love of Politics emerged ten years later, and accurately recorded the Faustian pact the Clintons made with the Unelected State.
Around this time, I was in the US pitching for a piece of Heinz advertising business. A californian Democrat Mayor told me, "That Clinton boy, he's more slippery than snot on a glass door-knob".
Shortly after she moved into the State Department milieu under Obama, Hillary went full-on native neocon nutjob."A few paragraphs later he moves onto the origin of COVID-19 hat4uk.wordpress.com/2020/07/25/the-saturday-essay-the-best-whodunnit-hypothesis/

Background - UK with no notice after allowing holidaymakers to travel to Spain on holiday, decided that due to some coming back positive for COVID-19 that anyone coming back would need 14 days quarantine - thousands of holiday makers affected - and the Minister for Transport Grant Schaps also trapped the same way as he was in Spain. "RICHARD LITTLEJOHN: Everybody back on the plane! Summer’s just been cancelled
The Cabinet only met in the flesh last week for the first time in four months. Wouldn’t you have liked to have been a fly on the wall when Boris finally addressed them face-to-face?
Welcome colleagues. You’re probably wondering why I called you all here today, ha-ha.
(Silence and puzzled looks all round.)
Jack Hawkins, League of Gentlemen. No? Never mind. Where are we up to, Rishi?
We’ve borrowed £300 billion and we’re extending the furlough until the end of October. After that, all bets are off, but we should be able to keep unemployment down to around four million.
Splendid.
We’ve cut VAT on eating out and I’m spending £10 million subsidising half-price hamburgers and cheeky Nando’s.
Excellent. And how’s that going?
Well, Prime Minister, there’s a bit of confusion over face coverings.
How so?
If you eat inside, you are not required to wear a mask, but if you take your food away, you do have to wear one.
Why?
Search me, Boss. Blame the science, that’s what we usually do.
How does buying millions of burgers tie in with our anti-obesity strategy?
We’ve got that covered. I’m also increasing funding to the NHS so that gastric band surgery is available to anyone who wants it. And we’re banning fast food advertising and giving away free cycling lessons to the clinically obese.
Who thought that was a good idea?
You did, boss.
Fair enough. What are we doing to get the retail sector going again?
We’re making everyone wear a face mask, except the staff.
What about pubs?
No.
No, what?
No, you don’t have to wear a mask in pubs, or gyms for that matter. Just shops.
Isn’t that a tad, er, inconsistent?
We’re only following . . .
Yes, yes, I know, ‘the science’. Look, we’ve got to get Britain moving again. How’s that going, Grant?
We bailed out London Transport to the tune of £1.6 billion.
So the Tubes and the buses are up and running at full capacity again?
Not exactly, Boris. Mayor Khan spent the lot on banning cars, building bike lanes and widening the pavements.
And is it working?
Nope. Central London is as deserted as Pyongyang during a rehearsal for a nuclear attack.
I’ve had Andrew Lloyd Webber on the blower. He says the West End won’t survive much longer. He wants to know why you can sit like sardines on an airplane for three hours, but not in a theatre.
Not a clue. We’re only following . . .
Don’t tell me, the science.
Precisely.
But the planes are flying again?
Absolutely.
I should hope so, too. We’ve bunged BA 300 million big ones.
In fact I’m flying off to Spain myself once this Cabinet meeting’s over. Thought I should set an example.
Safe travels, Grant. Missing you already . . ."More here> www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-8565901/RICHARD-LITTLEJOHN-Everybody-plane-Summers-just-cancelled.html

This was good. The greens are practiced with their own type of jingoism and buzzwords but they never seem to have any substance.

OK people - the UK has (supposedly) been playing with a 'COVID-19' tracking application
Note: I am in Florida using all US equipment.
Go to your phone settings on Android you will find in settings what to me was a new area 'Google settings' You will find that out of the kindness of its heart Google has loaded the 'COVID-19' tracking capability onto your phone.
What this capability gives to THEM is the ability to track who you are associating with. Obviously with the COVID-19 pandemic starting to slow that is really necessary. But if you are a member of the 'Monster Raving Loony Party' and are detected at a meeting with another member and 45 others. Then it's possible for THEM to trace all your 45 recruited members. Not that they would misuse an 'app' that has been dumped onto your phone like that of course after all it's only for COVID-19 that's what it says in the setting.....
Just wondered who else has got that and if anyone with an Apple iPhone has the same unrequested capability.

I just cannot understand so many of the things that we see from Britain. Dismaying and disappointing.

That would apply to a lot of people here too. A lot of extra pounds under some of those belts.
