;D
Don't worry,
<<Climate change is expected to create about 200 million environmental refugees by 2050, according to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the international body established within the United Nations to evaluate causes and consequences of global warming. >>
It's going to be a lot worse than that as we plunge into a new Dalton/Maunder and you are looking at 2015 not 2050. We can't even keep our roads or schools open with 2" of snow. It's a once in 20 yrs 'snow event'! Next year it will be a twice in 21 yrs 'snow event' etc. Then it will be the 3rd least snow event since 1815 etc. etc.
We need to divert carbon taxes to help these delusional children (and the IPCC, Gordon Brown etc.) back to reality.
Say it again Sammy. (Sammy Wilson)

We don't need to wait that long - the world is already on the edge. "Already China, India, Egypt, Vietnam and Cambodia have imposed tariffs or export bans, as it has become clear that world production of rice this year will decline in real terms by 3.5 per cent. The impact will be felt most keenly by the world’s poorest populations, who have become increasingly dependent on the crop as the prices of other grains have become too costly."www.infowars.com/food-riots-fear-after-rice-price-hits-a-high/"The UN secretary general has warned that millions of people are at risk of starvation as global food stocks have fallen to their lowest levels for decades."" An Egyptian man said: “People are fighting. Killing for bread, some are even pulling out knives. What is happening? What is this? Famine? ”"
" The UNWFP said another key factor contributing in the global decrease of productivity was weather irregularities all across the world."www.infowars.com/food-riots-in-egypt/High Food Prices and Food Riots: Is the Global Food Crisis Here to Stay? Published on Jan 16, 2009 in Education odeo.com/episodes/23890961-High-Food-Prices-and-Food-Riots-Is-the-Global-Food-Crisis-Here-to-StayTrend Prophet Forecasts Food Riots For US by 2012 - 4 February, 2009 (19:34)hot-trend.izfree.com/trend-prophet-forecasts-food-riots-for-us-by-2012/" MANILA, July 11 (Bernama) -- Amid warnings of possible civil unrest over soaring food and fuel prices, Philippine has included a military intelligence service that would implement preventive measures to address the crisis." www.bernama.com/bernama/v5/newsindex.php?id=345434etc etc etc CO 2 reduction will reduce plant growth (it actually stops at around 250ppm) Already, the world has a severe food shortage, if the temperature drops then the growing seasons will reduce too and this could push the entire world over the edge. It is not a nice thought. This was covered in the thread 'A Cold World with No Oil" Mental disorders come a lot lower on the list of concerns if you are hungry.

I don't suppose anyone in government anywhere has considered that planting crops-for-fuel has anything to do with food shortages?

Yes instead of 'FlexFuel' stickers on the cars there should be a sticker 'I run my car on food' with the picture of a starving child. It would be more correct.

Here's an interesting mental disorder:
[from Wikipedia] Messiah complex is a state in which the individual believes themselves to be, or destined to become, the saviour of the particular field, a group, an event, a time period, or in an extreme scenario, the world.

They may be right. Agw may cause mental disorders. Does this strike you as someone with a mental disorder. www.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/02/25/lewis.pugh/index.htmlIt is our perpetual Darwin award winner wanna be Lewis Pugh. I really hope this man does not have children.
