I'm moving! Better hurry and move. My wife's best friend moved from New York a few weeks ago. Everywhere here is being built on. The realtors are saying that they are having people from New York buy houses here 'sight unseen' just by the Realtor's adverts. But then a 5 bed ranch style house on a large lot with a screened in pool here is around $500K which is favorable compared to NYC prices. The infrastructure is being boosted too. A little up the I-95 from here at LPGA interchange they are building a gas station.... well it is a 'Buc-ees' "Gas stations to be biggest in Florida The Buc-ee's in St. Johns County is nearing completion at 200 World Commerce Parkway, next to World Golf Village on the southwest side of the Interstate 95/International Golf Parkway interchange (Exit 323). The gas station will have 104 fueling pumps, briefly making it the largest in Florida when it opens.
That's because the Buc-ee's under construction on the northeast side of the I-95/LPGA Boulevard interchange in Daytona Beach will be even larger: offering 120 fueling pumps.
Both Buc-ee's will include a 53,000-square-foot convenience store larger than most grocery stores."www.news-journalonline.com/story/business/real-estate/2020/12/23/buc-ees-open-mega-gas-stations-in-daytona-st-augustine-in-early-2021/3929285001/I just went into a small store here and they had someone on the door saying NOT to wear a mask

We have balmy weather too! (No hurricanes, fiber optic cable, no gators.) The pool could be multifunctional to boot! During the balmy period, take a swim. During the other period, a perfect skating rink!

There is one outside of Houston (Katy) with what must be 100 fuel pumps. You can get anything at a Buc-ee's. You can use the restroom which is HUGE without touching anything other than the soap and water that are automatically dispensed when you wash your hands. Those folks figured out the formula. I've seen traffic backed up on interstate highways lined up to get into the Buc-ee's. Florida, because of DeSantis, is desirable.

I imagine North Dakota is similar, though South Dakota does have a pleasant looking governor that uses common sense. I'm holding out that if things get really bad my Texas will secede. Given the election fraud all over the country and the fact that voter turnout in my county was 85%, which seems extraordinarily high AND the county was blue for the first time in many, many years, I have doubts about that being real and concerns about future elections. I wrote the governor just yesterday on the matter. If Texas goes blue, I will relocate. Don't know where yet, but Dakotas, Florida, Wyoming, Montana seem to be good potentials. Probably north vs. south, but the wife has a say. Sig, I'm older but can still work hard and can fix a multitude of equipment. I may apply at your shop, no pay required.

Moisture in Brazil and Argentina has taken the luster off the bean and corn market. They won't go down to 2014 levels, but I do think a bit of deterioration will happen.
Wheat could get interesting. Russia has imposed an export tax starting in the near future. The Plains states of the US remain dry, with a hint of moisture in the next month.

Don't forget Missouri and Oklahoma. We're friendly too, if ya stay away from inner St Louis and Kansas City. I'd give Kansas a pass. But that's a 160 year old Missouri thing. What part of Texas?

Missouri and Oklahoma are players if I can get far enough out that the gestapo won’t be interested and if there are allies like moboy or walnut close by to join in defense. Got kin in St. Louis but that’s city. I’m in Tarrant County close to Ft Worth.
