Intelsat-14 launched OK. The next Atlas rocket is SDO! GREAT ! That rocket had a couple of Solid Rocket boosters strapped to it. Lets hope the additional damage to the pad is minimal. Even with the extra work there should be more than adequate time to get the booster stacked and SDO Launched in February.

Hey Guys!
Great news!! If anyone has any contacts at the SDO office, it might be worth whispereing into their ears the suggestion that they post updates on say, booster preps and pre-launch satellite check out ops.

this signal is really loud! only solar flares over A3 will be visible! This might not happen often seen solar activity does not exist!

Solar Activity will increase dramatically over the next 6 months. By summer the base level will be above B1 and we will be having numerous C Level Flares and maybe even an M Level Flare every once in a while. It just seems like forever.

GOES 10 to GOES 14 switchover complete. Notice a noisier trace Hi Bob, Is GOES-14 having instrumentation problems or are they just tweaking it?? It looks like there are some discontinuities and missing data. The missing data are more evident in the 6-hour plot for today. G. Attachments:
