Back to the future. I must note that he is photographed next to a pony car made by non government motors FORD. Where is the DeLorean when you need it. Yes a lot could happen by 2025 and his police policies will make it possible, kind of like the Volt. "Obama says next-gen cars will slash drivers' gas bills" "Even if he can't control what's happening at the gas pump, President Obama used his weekly radio address yesterday to tell motorists that will win against high gas prices in the longer run because of his policies. Reason: High gas mileage cars, according to the Associated Press. With cars due to get an average of 55 miles a gallon by 2025, the average vehicle will double its current miles per gallon. "That means folks will be able to fill up every two weeks instead of every week, saving the typical family more than $8,000 at the pump over time," he said, as reported by the Associated Press. "That's a big deal, especially as families are yet again feeling the pinch from rising gas prices." It was yet again another example of how Obama is going to put cars and Detroit automakers' turnaround at the center of his reelection campaign." content.usatoday.com/communities/driveon/post/2012/03/obama-says-next-gen-cars-will-slash-drivers-gas-bills/1#.T1N2H4GwUYw

Now here is the kicker. Maybe Mr. Green expects such a clamor for a car that has just closed its production line for a bit. So maybe Mr. Green will not have to borrow the money from Greece. "Obama Budget to Subsidize $10-K For Each Electric Car Sold" "(CNSNews.com) - President Barack Obama wants to use more taxpayer funds to encourage the purchase of green vehicles. The government currently offers up to a $7,500 tax credit for those that purchase natural gas or electric vehicles, but the president’s latest budget proposal wants to increase the amount to $10,000 and allow for consumers to receive the tax incentive at the dealership when they purchase a qualifying vehicle." cnsnews.com/news/article/obama-budget-subsidize-10-k-each-electric-car-sold

Keynesian economics; the fast track to economic collapse.

Just when I think I have heard everything Mr. Green delivers more tax misuse insanity. "Government-subsidized green light bulb carries costly price tag" "The U.S. government last year announced a $10 million award, dubbed the “L Prize,” for any manufacturer that could create a “green” but affordable light bulb. Energy Secretary Steven Chu said the prize would spur industry to offer the costly bulbs, known as LEDs, at prices “affordable for American families.” There was also a “Buy America” component. Portions of the bulb would have to be made in the United States. Now the winning bulb is on the market. The price is $50." "A Philips spokesman declined to talk in detail about the bulb or its price because the product has yet to be formally launched. It is expected to hit stores within weeks and is available online. But the spokesman said the L Prize bulb costs more because, as the contest required, it is even more energy-efficient, running on 10 watts instead of 12.5 watts. It is also brighter, renders colors better and lasts longer." www.washingtonpost.com/business/economy/government-subsidized-green-light-bulb-carries-costly-price-tag/2012/03/07/gIQAFxOD0R_story.html

Consumer reports just call Mr. Greens expert Chu he will have it fixed in a jiffy. Maybe even send you a tax rebate check for efficiency as well. How many miles to the gallon does it get on the trailer? "Bad Karma: Our Fisker Karma plug-in hybrid breaks down" "Our Fisker Karma cost us $107,850. It is super sleek, high-tech—and now it’s broken. We have owned our car for just a few days; it has less than 200 miles on its odometer. While doing speedometer calibration runs on our test track (a procedure we do for every test car before putting it in service by driving the car at a constant 65 mph between two measured points), the dashboard flashed a message and sounded a “bing“ showing a major fault. Our technician got the car off the track and put it into Park to go through the owner’s manual to interpret the warning. At that point, the transmission went into Neutral and wouldn’t engage any gear through its electronic shifter except Park and Neutral." autos.yahoo.com/news/bad-karma--our-fisker-karma-plug-in-hybrid-breaks-down.html

Mr. Green's ripple effect on jobs. "Another publicly larded solar company – this one wants to walk away from their solar manufacturing plant" "The company, which received tens of millions in state aid before shuttering its facilities last year and moving its manufacturing operations to China, filed the notice in federal bankruptcy court in Delaware on Monday. Interested parties including MassDevelopment, which helps finance and develop new projects, have until Friday to respond to the filing. A spokeswoman for MassDevelopment declined comment Tuesday, saying the filing speaks for itself. Evergreen received more than $20 million in grants and $11 million in tax and lease initiatives from Massachusetts. That doesn’t include other tax benefits and millions in upgrades to roads and utilities around the plant. Gov. Deval Patrick championed Evergreen Solar early in his first term." wattsupwiththat.com/2012/03/13/another-publicly-larded-solar-company-this-one-wants-to-walk-away-from-their-solar-manufacturing-plant/

Mr. Green says do not do as I do do as I say. "Obama burns jet fuel to downplay gasoline prices" "President Barack Obama is about to launch a 5,000-mile, four-state, two-day trip on Air Force One to contain the political damage caused by high gas prices. Obama is slated to fly out this Wednesday to camera-ready podiums in Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Colorado, from where he’ll tout his administration’s efforts to reduce the nation’s use of gasoline. His 5,000-mile trip will consume roughly 25,000 gallons of jet fuel, according to Boeing." dailycaller.com/2012/03/19/obama-burns-jet-fuel-to-downplay-gasoline-prices/

Now who would have guessed that being green was not so green. The windmill has been the symbol of futility ever since the penning of Don Quixote de la Mancha. It is a refinement to do it with tax monies. "Is carbon cutting a waste of time? Figures show Britain's 'footprint' has increased by 20 per cent despite green taxes" "Ministers were accused of saddling consumers with pointless green taxes last night - as new figures revealed surging imports from developing countries that rely on ‘dirty’ power. Successive governments have boasted that a cocktail of green taxes and expensive wind farms has helped to curb carbon dioxide emissions blamed for global warming. But new official figures reveal that Britain’s so-called ‘carbon footprint’ has increased by 20 per cent in the last two decades as we import ever more from developing countries like China that rely on dirty coal-fired power stations." TR, yes another example which reveals the true Green agenda: "De-Civilize" the planet anyway they can. And if that includes De-Populating the planet, well that's even better. Economically is preferred because they can lay the blame elsewhere, and it's slow motion. Boil the frog slowly.
