Mr. Green hates jobs. Kill employment whenever possible. "China blocks Airbus orders over EU emissions scheme" "China is blocking orders for at least US$12 billion ($14.5 billion) worth of Airbus jets to protest against the European Union's emissions trading fees, in a new challenge to the programme aimed at fighting global warming, the planemaker said yesterday. With some analysts warning of a brewing trade war, Airbus spokesman Stefan Schaffrath said his company was seeing "retaliation threats" from 26 countries, "in particular from China"." www.nzherald.co.nz/business/news/article.cfm?c_id=3&objectid=10790974

Mr. Green's coverup. That is not my picture at that factory. "Documents: White House was all-hands-on-deck as Solyndra collapse neared" "A White House memo that noted the danger of “imminent bankruptcy” at the end of August 2011 says, “OMB, DPC and NEC have been working with press and OLA to be prepared for this news to break.” Acronym translation: OMB is the Office of Management and Budget, DPC is the Domestic Policy Council, NEC is the National Economic Council and OLA is the Office of Legal Affairs. The document, an update on Solyndra’s $535 million Energy Department (DOE) loan guarantee, notes that $527 million had been disbursed and that DOE believed no more funds should be alloted. The White House document notes that the Treasury Department, OMB and other White House offices agreed that no more money should be provided because there was a “near-zero chance" that the company could survive." "The White House’s top lawyers said again Friday that the approval of the decision to approve the loan guarantee was based on the merits, not politics. “None of the documents support the Committee’s allegations about favoritism to campaign contributors or improper White House involvement in the decision-making process,” Kathryn Ruemmler, the president chief counsel, and Cynthia Hogan, the vice president’s counsel, wrote in a letter that accompanied the documents." thehill.com/blogs/e2-wire/e2-wire/217915-white-house-was-all-hands-on-deck-as-solyndra-collapse-loomed"WASHINGTON — The Obama administration restructured a half-billion dollar federal loan to a troubled solar energy company in such a way that private investors — including a fundraiser for President Barack Obama — moved ahead of taxpayers for repayment in case of a default, government records show." "Since then, the implosion of the company and revelations that the administration hurried Office of Management and Budget officials to finish their review of the loan in time for the September 2009 groundbreaking has become an embarrassment for Obama as he sells his new job-creation program around the country. An Associated Press review of regulatory filings shows that Solyndra was hemorrhaging hundreds of millions of dollars for years before the Obama administration signed off on the original $535 million loan guarantee in September 2009. The company eventually got $528 million. Given the company's shaky financial condition, Republican lawmakers say the decision to restructure the loan raises questions about whether the administration protected political supporters at taxpayers' expense. "You should have protected the taxpayers and made some forceful actions here after this analysis," Rep. Cliff Stearns, R-Fla., told a top Energy Department official this week. "Because you should have seen the problems. And you should have said, 'Taxpayers need to be protected and this has got to stop.' More push back on Green agenda. "India bans its airlines from paying EU carbon tax" "India has barred its airlines from complying with the European Union carbon tax scheme, joining China in resistance to plans that have caused a backlash among the EU's trade partners. The European Union imposed a carbon levy on air travel with effect from January 1, but no airline will face a bill until 2013 after this year's carbon emissions have been tallied. Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh told parliament on Thursday that "the imposition of carbon tax does not arise" because Indian airlines would simply refuse to hand over their emissions data. "Though the European Union has directed Indian carriers to submit emission details of their aircraft by March 31, 2012, no Indian carrier is submitting them in view of the position of the government," he said. India's resolution to boycott the scheme follows China's decision last month to prevent its airlines from complying with the EU directive." ca.news.yahoo.com/india-bans-airlines-paying-eu-carbon-tax-071522596.html

The European Commission appear to have painted themselves into a corner with the Aircraft Emissions Trading Scheme which they claim allows them to tax an aircraft operator on emissions for an entire flight not just for the flight within European Union airspace. They have gone all out in European courts to claim legal rights for their case against the other countries who claim that this taxation is outside their jurisdiction. The intent of the European Commission was to 'force' the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), now an agency of the United Nations, to impose a world emissions trading scheme on airlines. (You can imagine the salivation of the bankers on the possibilities of running a scheme like that). In the face of the opposition from outside Europe the Commission has hardened its stance and the bureaucrats have dug their heels in claiming that they have the right to tax outside European jurisdiction.
The problem is that the non-European members of ICAO see things differently. China in particular has stopped orders for any more airbus aircraft, India is talking of imposing wholly uneconomic route charges (a toll for entering their airspace) and landing fees. Similar potential sanctions could be taken by Russia. A one year moratorium on purchase of Airbus aircraft by all non-European states would have no direct effect on their airlines but could be very damaging for Europe.
So the Chinese who hold a huge amount of the loans supporting the Euro, are being wound up by the European bureaucrats who like all bureaucrats cannot afford to 'lose face' but neither can China. China holds all the trump cards.
Time to buy popcorn and sit and watch.

BOHICA!! Thanks, Mr. Prez. But could you give us a kiss first? Maybe dinner and a movie? The Obama administration forged ahead on Tuesday with the first-ever limits on heat-trapping pollution from new power plants, ignoring protests from industry and from Republicans who have said the regulation will raise electricity prices and kill off coal, the dominant U.S. energy source. But the proposal also fell short of environmentalists' hopes because it goes easier than it could have on coal-fired power -- one of the largest sources of the gases blamed for global warming.
"Right now, there are no limits to the amount of carbon pollution that future power plants will be able to put into our skies -- and the health and economic threats of a changing climate continue to grow," said Lisa Jackson, the head of the Environmental Protection Agency.
Older coal-fired power plants have already been shutting down across the country, thanks to low natural gas prices, demand from China driving up coal's price and weaker demand for electricity.
Regulations from the EPA to control pollution blowing downwind and toxic emissions from power plants have also helped push some into retirement, causing Republicans in Congress and on the campaign trail to claim the agency will cause blackouts. Numerous studies and an AP survey of power plant operators have shown that is not the case.
The proposed rule will not apply to existing power plants or new ones built in the next year. It will also give future coal-fired power plants years to meet the standard, because it will eventually require that carbon pollution be captured and stored underground, or injected to extract more oil and natural gas. Such carbon capture technology is not yet commercially available.
By contrast, a new natural gas-fired power plant would meet the new standard without installing additional controls.
"There are areas where they could have made it a lot worse," said Scott Segal, director of the Electric Reliability Coordinating Council, a coalition of power companies. Still, "the numerical limit allows progress for natural gas and places compliance out of reach for coal-fired plants" not planning to capture and sequester carbon dioxide, the chief greenhouse gas.
Scott Miller, CEO and President of the American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity, a group of coal-burning electricity producers, took a more dismal view of the proposal.
"The latest rule will make it impossible to build any new coal-fueled power plants and could cause the premature closure of many more coal-fueled power plants operating today," Miller said.
The regulation, which was due to be released last July but was held up at the White House, stemmed from a settlement with environmental groups and states. The government already controls global warming pollution at the largest industrial sources, has adopted the first-ever standards for new cars and trucks and is working on regulations to reduce greenhouse gases at existing power plants and refineries.

More on Mr Green's power killing agenda. Mr. Green's signature event will be leaving us all in the dark with a dead economy. "Government proposes first carbon limits on power plants": "(Reuters) - The Obama administration proposed on Tuesday the first rules to cut carbon dioxide emissions from new U.S. power plants, a move hotly contested by Republicans and industry in an election year. The Environmental Protection Agency's proposal would effectively stop the building of most new coal-fired plants in an industry that is moving rapidly to more natural gas. But the rules will not regulate existing power plants, the source of one third of U.S. emissions, and will not apply to any plants that start construction over the next 12 months." www.reuters.com/article/2012/03/27/us-usa-carbon-idUSBRE82Q0W120120327

The above is really nuts. The US has enough coal for approx 300 years. Energy does drive the economy. What we need being the US is so far in debt is ANYTHING that produces in-expensive energy.
When we get rich again, we can worry about CO2. By then, it will be known that CO2 is a bit player concerning climate.
Hard to believe that there is no kickback anymore to this junk science.

Tesla .
G G
does everyone forget that we have infinite free energy coming from across the universe to us from quasars blazars SMB's and medium black holes super novas and who knows what else.
thats the most beautiful thing about green energy.
TESLAS RADIANT ENERGY. he told jp morgan 100 years ago that we are poisoning the earth and that his radiant energy plan would give the world free wireless energy forever.
Whenever I mention this to people i feel god smiling I feel like a hero. I feel SO EXTREME AND INTENSE I JUST WANNA RUN AND SHOVE A CEO OUT OF HIS OPEC OFFICE AND START DOING THINGS RIGHT !

How do you cheer up people that are just doing their job and it is evil. Mr. Green could some out and sing for them or give them a dazzling smile. "$175k to cheer up Department of Energy and Climate Change staff" "THEY are responsible for some of the government's most important policies - but staff at the Department of Energy and Climate Change are too ashamed to admit where they work. Staff morale is so low the government has spent almost $175,000 on consultants to lift staff's flagging spirits. A negative public image of the department, changing environmental policies and lack of internal support had left them feeling miserable and disengaged, an internal report has found. The report was conducted by consultants Right Management in July 2010 when the department was under the responsibility of Finance and Deregulation Minister Penny Wong." www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/k-to-cheer-up-department-of-energy-and-climate-change-staff/story-e6freuy9-1226308900114

well if i knew what Nikola Tesla did about radiant energy id either be dead or hiding in a hole but here is whats left of his idea (probably tampered with by 100 years of the governments/secret societies) www.alexpetty.com/2011/05/10/the-radiant-energy-receiver-system-of-nikola-tesla/www.thelivingmoon.com/41pegasus/01archives/Teslas_Generator.htmwww.youtube.com/watch?v=xBF8VPYGl-ghome.earthlink.net/~drestinblack/tesfreee.htmamasci.com/tesla/tesray1.htmlconsidering this man created the foundation of everything scientists use today id swallow my bs attitudes if i were you and just read it with a hopeful open mind im SOOO sorry that i dont know more im a young kid thats only looked into this for the last 2-3 years remember why the richest leaders/gangsters/criminals/royalties of the world dont want us to have free infinite energy and the capability to do almost anything ( they can enjoy enslaving us / they cant make sure they are on top / they are scared shitless that the masses will find out the unbelievably horrible stuff that have done to us our ancestors and our planet and that the masses will punish them for it / i for one believe in forgiveness so id forgive them just to move on and be a type 2 civilization within 50-100 years. remember what above your head below your feet and to all sides of you ( a speed of light or faster expanding explosion of talking-( radio/electromagnetic spectrum) gas clouds bigger than your ego stars planets black holes and everything in between ... there is no way in hell that can stop of from harmoniously tapping into the lifeblood/nervous system of my universe your universe our universe that pieces every part of our bodies every day sorry to get all grandure and deep but sometimes you gotta check this stuff from a different perspective this is what i think is green technology and it does not bite it is divinely righteous radiant energy technology in quantum computing nano bots controlled by our thoughts and cells. sounds like the best legendary enchanted crafted item i ever heard of and its a real life item. hope you dont mind putting some humor in things and i dont smoke btw i just read ponder and discuss. thank you for reading this i hope that you get something good out of it my bad if i somehow make u wanna talk smack but i take green energy extremely and intensely serious sense its the only thing imo that will save life on earth from extinction. I mean we need something to replace NIF , CERN , and so on from ripping out universe apart. i vote massage and woo the universe to get its most precious processes not blow it open and try to pick up its guts.

From the ridiculous to the sublime. "NV Energy windmill program generates rebates, little electricity" "As first reported by the Reno Gazette-Journal, one turbine that cost the city $21,000 to install saved the city $4 on its energy bill. Overall, $416,000 worth of turbines have netted the city $2,800 in energy savings. Not all of the city’s turbines performed so poorly. But on average, the small wind turbines installed statewide through NV Energy’s program have yielded disappointing results." www.lasvegassun.com/news/2012/mar/30/nv-energy-windmill-program-generates-rebates-littl/
