'Climate Change' (a meaningless term) has now become a religion. It has a creed that all must adhere to, and shibboleths that must be genuflected to. Anyone that does not follow the creed precisely is a heathen denier, a gentile, a non-believer. I think that the human psyche needs a religion that threatens damnation if it is not followed and 'saves the children' if its practices are followed. The church of 'climate change' has filled that religious void in the greens. Logic therefore is completely unimportant. They will happily drink the koolaid and expect the rapture.

I don't plan on being part of that rapture. In fact, I won't be part of that rapture!

stoneforge.com/2018/02/19/the-desert-storm/What follows is a look at the data record as given on the site for NASA Goddard Institute of Space Studies (GISS) for the station at Carlsbad, Texas. Carlsbad sits in the high plains, about 2000 feet, in a relatively rural area with a population of about 700 people, but is also just 15 miles north of a medium size city. The station has been in operation since 1903.

Each and every 'homogenization' should be justified giving actual readings for the day then the reason each of those readings is incorrect the calculation used to generate a different temperature and justification for that calculation. That should be signed off by the GISS data manager _and_ the state meteorologist. After all they are altering a public record that was accurately taken at the time by a trained meteorological observer. The previous data should be easily available as an unaltered dataset of unadjusted temperatures.

Radical movements ultimately 'eat their own'. Robespierre ultimately understood. Rupture their rapture at your risk. Actually, former colleagues who feared him finished him off. Gore this! OK.
