Winter has arrived. 2-3" of snow that looks like will be here for the duration. Sounds like permafrost ... don't light matches or start any machinery when that methane bubbles up next Summer.

I admit to being surprised in view of the developing La Nina, and deep cold in Asia and North America. Also, Melbourne is awfully cold for November [+ 16degC]. Tomorrow will be warm here in SE Queensland but October was pleasant and pleasant weather is forecast into next week. Nerang Forecast
