With all this additional snow cover in the N Hemisphere, how much extra solar energy is getting reflected back out to space. I'd bet it'd be a greater proportion then the extra 0.01% of the atmosphere that we've apparently changed in the last 50 years or so......

Now the decision has to be made whether Theo's hypothesis is not yet falsified. I'm not sure that can be decided in a hurry. If you refer to the idea this is the first cooler winter starting a cooling trend, we'll need a few more years to definitively call it. My wife however is not rolling her eyes so much when i mention cooling so I think the general public feel it's got legs, so to speak....

Spring has sprung here on Long Island! We got about 18" last night. I started digging out at 6:30 am. took 2 hours. Only got plowed back in 3 times by the town plow.
