I wish I knew what goes on in Lisa "Dusty" Jackson's head when they come up with this kind of idiocy. Not much, I think. They plan to now reduce the allowable dust in the atmosphere by half. Specifically by putting a halt to farming apparently, because there is no way you can farm without making dust. www.news9.com/Global/story.asp?S=12899662 . Be sure to read the letter a number of Senators sent her.

I wish I knew what goes on in Lisa "Dusty" Jackson's head ....They plan to now reduce the allowable dust in the atmosphere by half. You do know: Control (over food supply). The power to allocate to rent-seekers and favored groups. The solution is straightforward: put the EPA on a strict diet (of funds), say 50%. ;D

How about we just do away with the EPA altogether? The problem is that the original Clean Air Act actually did some good. The 1948 Donora, Pa smog killed people. The current problem comes from broadly-written Congressional legalese that can be contorted by the power-hungry to cover everything from "Frisbees to flatulence" (SCOTUS). For the EPA, I would propose a very short leash attached to a choke collar.

Crazy.. I also thought dust was a good thing in these "global warming" days?? So is SO 2, according to the IPCC. Climate models do not agree on how sensitive the climate is to increases in CO2 and manage to replicate twentieth century temperature trends only by inferring (though parametrization) whatever aerosol cooling effect is necessary to “explain” observed temperatures. Johnston, Jason Scott, and Robert G. Fuller, Jr. Global Warming Advocacy Science: a Cross Examination. Research Paper. University Of Pennsylvania: University Of Pennsylvania Law School, May 2010. www.probeinternational.org/UPennCross.pdfHowever: EPA. “SO 2 Reductions and Allowance Trading under the Acid Rain Program.” Governmental. Clean Air Markets, April 14, 2009. www.epa.gov/airmarkets/progsregs/arp/s02.htmlPerhaps the EPS figures that (once natural cooling takes hold), they can reduce SO 2 enough to keep the warming going on.

Oh I have no doubt it was all part of the plan but people here think I'm enough of a conspiracy nut without adding fuel to the fire. ;D

Welcome to California! They have already banned lead in condor areas and have legislation moving through to ban it everywhere. They weren't successful banning guns so they are going after the ammo. BTW, they also have legislation moving through that you can only buy 50 rounds a month and you can't buy out of state or over the internet.

No one wants to be one of those "conspiracy theorists", I'm sure. Still, I wonder what all these goings-on might look like if it really was a conspiracy.

For example; SMEAC . Situation, Mission, Execution, Administration and logistics, Command and signals. If there is a conspiracy it is a very poorly thought out one.

Gotcha covered there: IPCC AR4 SPM, Kyoto Agreement, RulesOfTheGame.pdf (ClimateGate files), Post-Normal Science, EPA vs. Massachusetts, etc., etc., etc. ;D
