Must be some real torque output! Not only that but the overall design had to be just right. I assume the trucks were helping pull. Just wait for the for the electric no emission planet saving tractors come out.  |

Steiger was started by a couple of brothers from Minnesota. Case-Ih bought then probably around 18-20 years ago. Steiger designed a differential that locked when pulling straight. The tractor in the video would have true 4WD when it wasn't turning. The ballast of the tractor was also excellent. |

Something to note from considerable research, is the normal high pitched squeal smoke alarms - do NOT wake children they may be able to hear it when awake but they will not react when asleep; and those of advanced years lose their high frequency hearing accuity first so may not hear the alarm at all. It makes a lot of sense if concerned to get what is called a 'bed shaker' it is actually a heavy duty vibrator that can be attached to the bed frame and that wakes everyone. Some bed shaker models have a microphone that activates the bed shaker when it senses the frequencies of a smoke alarm so they do not need to be attached just close enough to 'hear' the smoke alarm. I have a short presentation somewhere I'll find it out if anyone is interested. |
