So easily stopped with a little hydroflouric acid and paint. Once all the little sights and periscopes are turned to painted frosted glass - a tank is not a place to be.

Interesting to see the reactive armor on top, as well as the front and side, of the turret. As far as I know, none of the M1 versions, including the M1A3, use reactive armor at all.

hydroflouric acid- that stuff is not real healthy for the humans either. A very diabolical acid. So easily stopped with a little hydroflouric acid and paint. Once all the little sights and periscopes are turned to painted frosted glass - a tank is not a place to be.

If you are going to be spraying, please let me know. I'd prefer to be more than one state away, depending on wind direction It has a really nasty irreparable effect on any glass optics though If it works on ticks I'll order up an airstrike.

Having watched many weapons effects demonstrations, one place I would not like to be on a battlefield is in a tank. There are so many tank killing devices from airborne anti-tank missiles (the main purpose of the Apache helicopter) to individual man portable tank killing missiles. Ideally, in the battlespace you want to be a 'low value target' and that is NOT by being in a tank. Reminds me of the comment from a battle-scarred officer who had been through several tours in less hospitable places than Afghanistan. The first thing you do he said is go to one of the men and say - "Hey lad, I'll carry that heavy rifle you can have my sub-machine gun" Reducing his value as a target

It pays to be a ' low value target' on the 'Net too ..... I think.

"Guy Who Reverse-Engineered TikTok Reveals The Scary Things He Learned, Advises People To Stay Away From It
2 months ago, Reddit user bangorlol made a comment in a discussion about TikTok. Bangorlol claimed to have successfully reverse-engineered it and shared what he learned about the Chinese video-sharing social networking service. Basically, he strongly recommended that people never use the app again, warning about its intrusive user tracking and other issues. Considering that TikTok was the 4th most popular free iPhone app download in 2019, this is quite alarming.
[for the technical]
So I can personally weigh in on this. I reverse-engineered the app, and feel confident in stating that I have a very strong understanding for how the app operates (or at least operated as of a few months ago). TikTok is a data collection service that is thinly-veiled as a social network. If there is an API to get information on you, your contacts, or your device... well, they're using it. • Phone hardware (cpu type, number of course, hardware ids, screen dimensions, dpi, memory usage, disk space, etc) • Other apps you have installed (I've even seen some I've deleted show up in their analytics payload - maybe using as cached value?) • Everything network-related (ip, local ip, router mac, your mac, wifi access point name) • Whether or not you're rooted/jailbroken • Some variants of the app had GPS pinging enabled at the time, roughly once every 30 seconds - this is enabled by default if you ever location-tag a post IIRC • They set up a local proxy server on your device for "transcoding media", but that can be abused very easily as it has zero authentication The scariest part of all of this is that much of the logging they're doing is remotely configurable, and unless you reverse every single one of their native libraries (have fun reading all of that assembly, assuming you can get past their customized fork of OLLVM!!!) and manually inspect every single obfuscated function. Or of course it could be a disgruntled worker -
Chicago (Aurora) air traffic control center was taken out by a contractor with a grievance who knew where to go to do the most damage. It gets even more interesting if you are in an underground missile facility. Always blame local 'wetware' before you blame software

I give you Lloyd Russell-Moyle a 'front bench' Labour MP in Her Majesties House of Commons most honourable member for Brighton.
For those who thought Congressman Nadler was bad.
