Maybe I'm fine with it. I'd rather live under a wise and benevolent chief than the democrats anyway. The Supreme Court gave Oklahoma away? I thought we stole this fair and square?! Tulsa, Creek Indian Nation capital city.

Familytree. Purchased the BigY700 test some time back. Co-administer the R-Z56 and Subclades Project. Hey I did that. What major haplogroup and terminal SNP did you test at? Mine is R1b>U152>Z56>S47 (and below). S47 formation date is estimated at c. 2500 BC.

Tulsa, Creek Indian Nation capital city. My non-lawyer mind interpreted their decision as ... If you're gonna steal something, then you better file the proper paperwork. When Caesar finished laughing, Gaul was still his (Rome's), and no silly magistrate was going to say otherwise. So are we a kinder gentler nation? Or a bunch of chumps. Ditto on the benevolent chief versus a Democrat. My great grandfather (George) and grandfather (Naither) and all their offspring circa 1916-20.

It was fought for, won, then given away, then incrementally stolen again over decades. Then given away by some indifferent people 750 miles away. It's time for us to find that warpath again. I'm sure it's well overgrown, and needs brush hogged.
MoBoy, was your father one of those kids?

I'm sure it's well overgrown, and needs brush hogged. MoBoy, was your father one of those kids? Yep. Fifth one from the left bottom row at Granpa's left knee. Granpa was very tall for us south European Celtic models. Granma Breedlove's (middle row left to Granpa's right) grandmother was Blackfoot (c. 1840s). And her mother (1/2 Blackfoot) was drop-dead gorgeous ... I have the pictures. Women were scarce on the frontier, but Granma's dad (surname Hartley) did really well. These parts is full of related Hartley descendants. As the apple falls not far from the tree, the path is not hidden from those who remember their history. As Mr Clemens wrote ... there is not a square inch of the Earth's surface still in the hands of its rightful occupants. The difference between ancient and modern thieves is the paperwork. If paperwork and courts are a "civilizing" influence ... and if civilization be good ... then we should endeavor to keep "the letter" of our agreements, even if we miss the exact spirit.

Just found out I didn't go with the big test only the starter Y-12 My paternal pathway is I-M223 I-M223 - Primary haplogroup of Mesolithic Western Europe circa 15000-8000 ybp. Preceded the Indo-European (R1b) western European incursions out of the Pontic Steppe. To know more you need to pay for more testing.

I-M223 - Primary haplogroup of Mesolithic Western Europe circa 15000-8000 ybp. Preceded the Indo-European (R1b) western European incursions out of the Pontic Steppe. To know more you need to pay for more testing. Yeah, the Pontic Steppe is definitely one side of my family, in fact that side of the family is entirely from the PS. The other side is more Western. I was interested in looking at rumors of family lines going back to Robert the Bruce. Familytree surname project Bruce is largely R1b, but like most British Isles surnames, it is a mixture. So there are I-M223 as well as others. No idea what the original Robert the Bruce was. The I's have been around a long time. But he's only been dead 700 years. Hardly a speck in the sands of YDNA. One could always dig him up and check.
