Stupidity is contagious!!! If it had been an illegal immigrant with a gun stolen from an FBI car the 'we have to follow the law' is waived and the illegal immigrant released. I predict that within 6 months things might have changed. |

Might seem like a wizard idea ... but the UN has been careful to accrue other international agencies that the US may want to remain part of - such as the International CIvil Aviation Authority which although set up in the time of the League of Nations by a 'Chicago Convention' has been subsumed into the UN bureaucracy. "Try that on and ICAO gets it!" is the intent, there are other telecommunications standard bodies etc etc. It is not quite so easy as an implosion then build a hotel. |
