The most recent assessment of the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change puts the figure much higher, at between 1.5 degrees and 4.5 degrees C. “All trees, and many other plants, wheat, rice, soybeans, cotton, etc., are handicapped because, by historical standards, there currently is too little, not too much, CO2 in the atmosphere,” read a slide contained in Happer’s testimony.

Now that's a greenhouse we can live with. There’s a lot, after all, that we don’t understand. For instance, a recent National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration report found that while Arctic tundras have indeed been greening over the past 30 years, in the past two to four years, that trend has reversed itself.Could they also be seeing the onset of cooling associated with the solar downturn? Plants may need even more of that magic molecule.

insideclimatenews.org/news/12012017/wyoming-coal-wind-energy-solar-energy-climate-change-denialUnder this new proposal, power providers could continue to generate and sell wind to customers outside of Wyoming without a penalty—but they would be hit with a fee for providing that same power to in-state residents and businesses. Utilities that fail to meet the proposed standards would face $10 penalty for each megawatt hour of energy the utility fails to procure from approved sources and the utility couldn't recover this penalty by raising customer rates.

wattsupwiththat.com/2017/01/13/not-tired-of-winning-yet/ “EPA does not get to decide whether compliance with (the law) is good policy, or would lead to too many difficulties for the agency,” Bailey wrote. “It is time for the EPA to recognize that Congress makes the law, and EPA must not only enforce the law, it must obey it.”

The New Chairman of the Board has spoken ... and I think I saw Thomas Jefferson smiling. I was also pleased to see Missouri in the forefront of the inauguration. The Philosopher has left town and the git-er-done Pragmatist is taking over. His straight forward, firm, no nonsense speech is one I think that even an old KGB agent can understand.

That does not include Shepherd Smith and some Democrats he had on who thought the speech was divisive. After all it was talking about patriotic Americans so by definition it was snot inclusive. I kid you not that was the argument. Followed by Shepherd Smith saying how the country was less divided over the last few years....

There are also Aussies who suggest that patriotism is unhealthy. We should all be globalists.

Code: Are you surprised that Trump won? You had kindly informed me that Hillary was certain to win (thank you). And you inquired as to what my plans would be since you were certain that she would win.
I guess we were reading different polls. I didn't make any special plans.

And you inquired as to what my plans would be since you were certain that she would win. I guess we were reading different polls. I didn't make any special plans. I didn't either. I was not surprised to observe President Trump's victory. I talk to a fair number of folks who are out of state. In fact, a long ways out of state. (business contacts). Prior elections, it was about a 50-50 split as to who they would be supporting. This election, I couldn't find ONE Mrs. Clinton supporter in the "Rust Belt Area". Looking at the election map results by county, it confirmed what I had learned via contacts. President Trump may be a disaster, however; Mrs. Clinton WOULD have been a disaster.
