I'm not saying it was Aliens....but it was Aliens.. Ancient monuments get more and more mind-blowing the more you look. Walking past some dry wall guys as there are some on site (its next to Blenheim Palace, land is owned by estate) Nice fellows, very calm and methodical individuals...many hours of stone chipping goes into making stones fit to make a nice dry boundry wall for a £1m house.... Started asking them if they'd heard of the dry wall in peru, 60 tonne boulders, multiple sides, fit together so paper won't fit in the gaps. They were quite interested, I told them they were built 100's if not 1000's of years ago and that in all that time, here we are now with small stones and gaps. I ran before they could throw any! Well of course we're using small stones now - the ancients used up all the big ones! :-)

I like to know where the stones were quarried and transported from. It helps give some idea as to how well developed their roads were, did they have wheeled carts, how far away did people travel and trade goods, etc. We have 6000 year old arrowheads in Oklahoma which were chipped from stone derived from Ohio, that sort of thing. I think that the Brittany ocean bluffs are granite.

And if the comet appeared to come into view in the area of sky that has the Pleiades that could explain the fixation with a minor constellation of stars. IT should be possible to model the area of sky that the Oort cloud originated comets would appear in if displaced by Jupiter and then fragmented by the Sun.

Lot of people believe that ... and I can't falsify its null. If they've got their dating close on Gobekli tepe and its supposed ancient ancestor, then we're talking younger dryas or before ... and long before our Indo-European ancestors wandered off the Steppe ... and the old, old copper mines of the Carpathians. Something doesn't add up.

there was a very steep drop after the JD that is still searching for a reason.
8C down 100years then 10C up 100years makes the currently climate look positively flatline.

sorry YD. But here's another story. Have a look at the global temperature in Climate Reanalyzer, the Arctic and the Antarctic both above zero anomaly. If they go to say zero and given their trivial enthalpy the world is back to zero anomaly. That was quick don't look at this from your narrow lens of cold around you, that said from a balance perspective only. oz4caster.wordpress.com/cfsr/I sit in my office watching the Americas Cup boats blitzing around the harbour at 40 Kts oh yes have a glass of wine to boot. Ah but in lock down lite.

Of course you may be right. But sometimes data leads to the strangest places. In Newton's case, it was a single apple ... and a brillient, inquisitive mind.
