The concepts of evidence sure are strange. Back when the Earth was flat, it was easier I guess. Deniers were merely burnt at the stake. Men like Columbus and de Gama paid the appropriate "lip service" when necessary and went about the practice of "bringing home the bacon". Thus the world became round ... and the priests migrated on to the next bit of "evidence".
Evidence-based practice (EBP) is the objective, balanced, and responsible use of current research and the best available data to guide policy and practice decisions, such that outcomes for consumers are improved.

I wonder why "evidence-based" needs to be mentioned. After all, she's a scientist ...... isn't she?

JC has the good fortune (common sense, anti-GDS bio-resiliency ) to withstand the spread of mass psychosis. It is an interesting and perhaps underfunded area of study. Is there a Lemming gene - or similar - hiding in our chemistry? Asimov's sci-fi short story "Nightfall" comes to mind. I have no background in psychology (thank God), but I wonder if there are other "mass psychosis" events in human history. Perhaps we have mislabeled them all these years and never knew it. Or perhaps I am full of BS. But I am sure that it is no fun to be on the business end of such an event.

The Year when a Paradigm Became God. At exactly what point does a scientist (or leader) become a War Criminal?

The title " Anger erupts at U.N. climate summit as major economies resist bold action" save me a lot of reading time.

Perhaps it will coincide with the Virginia Militia march on Richmond.
