tallbloke.wordpress.com/2019/11/18/corals-that-dont-exist-thriving-in-real-world/"Corals That Don’t Exist Thriving In Real World In December 2015 Peter Ridd, then a physics professor at Australia’s James Cook University, contacted a journalist. Researchers affiliated with his own institution, he said, were misleading the public about the Great Barrier Reef. As an example, Ridd cited photos taken approximately 100 years apart near Bowen, a community of 10,000 on the Australian coast in the vicinity of the Reef. These photos tell a stark story: previously vibrant coral expanses are now desolate wastelands.
Ridd complained that this pair of photos was spreading across the Internet. They were appearing in official reports and news stories. Even though the 1995 paper in which they’d first been published had cautioned against viewing them as evidence the Reef was in “broad-scale decline,” that’s exactly how they were being used. Ridd supplied the journalist with recent photos from the same area. These showed healthy, abundant coral."climatechangedispatch.com/corals-thriving-real-world/

"The BIG MONEY In The Climate Change Delusion
Most of the public believe that climate activist groups are the Davids in a battle with the Goliath industrial complex across the world. Nothing could be further from the truth. In Cracking Big Green: To Save the World from the Save-The-Earth Money Machine (2018), authors Ron Arnold and Paul Driessen use information derived from the annual reports of non-profit organizations, as revealed in the Internal Revenue Service IRS form 990s, to show the true wealth of ‘Big Green.’ Focusing on the year 2012, which was readily available, they discovered the staggering annual incomes of various environmental groups, some of which are listed as follows:"americaoutloud.com/the-big-money-in-the-climate-change-delusion

"Mikko Paunio: The Lancet Countdown Report Is Dangerous Nonsense Date: 25/11/19
Mikko Paunio, MD, MHS adjunct professor in epidemiology at the University of Helsinki The mainstream media has – again – promoted a nonsensical anti-development agenda
Almost all Finnish newspapers and TV and radio channels recently told readers, viewers and listeners that a child born today will suffer enormously because of manmade climate change unless political action is taken. Their claims are based on a report from the medical journal, The Lancet, entitled The 2019 report of The Lancet Countdown on health and climate change: ensuring that the health of a child born today is not defined by a changing climate. Apparently the mainstream media has told the same story around the world. The new report is mostly nonsense, and dangerous nonsense too. For example, it assumes that the predicted increases in global temperatures will bring vector-borne diseases in their wake, although the validity of such forecasts is highly debatable, and the connection to vector-borne diseases is speculative and/or false. The report also says that global warming will cause droughts and therefore food shortages and malnutrition, although the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization continues to report record harvests in most years.[ii]"

A really strange source for a debunk.... BBC History Magazine... None of the 6 most catastrophic weather events in UK history were in the last 200 years....
"6 of the most catastrophic weather events in British history
The famously changeable British weather has long been the subject of complaint and small talk. Here, Patrick Nobbs explores six of the most disastrous weather events in British history...
The world’s leading climatologists all agree that our weather is becoming more severe in the current period of rapid climatic change. Yet our history, if we care to learn from it, has seen this all before. As the Northern Hemisphere descended into the coldest climatic phase since the last ice age – ‘The Little Ice Age’ – Britain’s weather became highly erratic, and sometimes truly deadly…." "Early December 1407 saw a severe frost set in across much of Europe that lasted until late March. In England, trees split, birds were frozen to death in flight, and avian populations were decimated. The Thames was frozen over for the best part of three months, and it was “possible to walk dry shod across the entire river throughout the season”.
While water-bearing traffic was frozen at anchor, other forms of travel and commerce became impossible due to hard packed ice and deep snow. Far to the south, the Bosphorus froze in its entirety at Constantinople, and the lower Danube froze over completely – the only known occurrence."www.historyextra.com/period/medieval/6-of-the-most-catastrophic-weather-events-in-british-history/

"Climate convert Jeremy Clarkson calls Greta Thunberg, 16, 'a stupid idiot' and a 'weird Swede with a bad temper' for offering no solutions to climate change while 'sailing across the ocean in a diesel-powered yacht'
* Jeremy Clarkson, 59, has accused the eco-warrior Greta Thunberg of hypocrisy * He dismissed her as nothing more than 'a stupid idiot,' and a 'weird Swede' * The journalist also discussed witnessing first hand the impact of climate change"
Jeremy Clarkson has branded the eco-warrior Greta Thunberg 'a stupid idiot' and a 'weird Swede with a bad temper' in an explosive interview.
The 59-year-old gave his candid thoughts on the 16-year-old during promotion for The Grand Tour.
Clarkson - who regularly calls out the activist on social media and in his column with The Sun - has accused her of being a hypocrite.
Dismissing her as nothing more than 'a stupid idiot,' Jeremy said her speech at the United Nations offered no solutions when she accused leaders of stealing her 'dreams and childhood'. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7741719/Jeremy-Clarkson-brands-Greta-Thunberg-16-stupid-idiot-weird-Swede-bad-temper.html

"BBC’s One Planet falsely claims that polar bears hunting whales from shore is an unprecedented effect of climate change
Polar bears leaping on the backs of belugas off Seal River, in western Hudson Bay, is being falsely promoted by the BBC’s new “Seven Worlds: One Planet” TV special as an unprecedented effect of climate change.
More specifically, the Daily Mail (30 November 2019) this morning quoted the documentary, narrated by Sir David Attenborough, as saying:
‘This extraordinary behaviour has only been recorded here, in this remote corner of North America, and only in the last few years.’
Poppycock. More climate change hyperbole from Attenborough’s seemingly never-ending litany of nonsense that’s easily refuted. There is scientific literature documenting such behaviour in Canada’s far north in the 1980s, which I included in the blog post I wrote about this phenomenon a few months ago (after National Geographic published a similar scare-story), which I have reposted below."Continued at: polarbearscience.com/2019/11/30/bbcs-one-planet-falsely-claims-that-polar-bears-hunting-whales-from-shore-is-an-unprecedented-effect-of-climate-change/There is a difference between being wrong and intentionally misinforming the audience and it appears that Attenborough is well into propaganda territory
