Dont think I've seen such a strong Nina forecast before.... A tad early - but if that downward slope continues another month and if the depth is maintained for a deeper than normal La Nina, then that fits with Theo's forecast; especially if it continues to deepen past the end of the year. I hope nobody sold their coat

Be interesting to see what NOAA ENSO page gives as odds for nina later, currently favours neutral in this period with 50/50 nina nino possibility....

The ENSO Outlook is currently INACTIVE. This means there is little or no sign of El Niño or La Niña developing in the coming months.

Models have only picked up on potential -ve trend in last couple of weeks....willing to bet this'll change soon.

Well they may be _calling_ it "climate change" but even their dumbest supporters will find it difficult to support the ideas if everywhere is going colder. This is the reason for the fraudulent figures from NASA/NOAA/BoM/Met Office etc etc., They will continue to try to convince people that there is 'arctic amplification' even though the temperatures there don't support that idea. The maps will have scarlet all over them. A long dark blue La Nina is not so easy with the Humboldt current reaching Indonesia

I normally check this site www.bom.gov.au/climate/enso/#tabs=Outlooksfor Nina forecasts Its the first time I have seen such a strong La Nina forecast Can someone direct me to the site showing the chart at the start of this post?
